Neither Lancashire Constabulary or GMP have that as their motto. GMP is "Fighting Crime, Protecting People" and Lancs is a rather lame "To consistently be the best police force in the country"..

Also, I never really understood people bleeting about them being "revenue collectors". It's like Jeremy Clarkson moaning about speed camera's.

Fed up of getting fined? Don't break the bloody law then...

On the one hand, people moan the Police don't do anything, but if the very same person commits an offence and get's caught, their tune changes rather quickly to one of "damn Police just harassing me for cash"... Can't have it both ways.

I learnt they were in tyres when a security expert revealed it to me.
I say they are in tyres and your telling me they are not so I ask you How do you know this? Is it simply your belief or are you the head chief of all tyre manufacturers?

As for readers in the road I have to ask what country you are in because they are everywhere. There are at least ten surrounding the little town where I live, they cover all roads that lead out of the town, they are on every junction too. If it were not the middle of the night I'd walk up the road and get a photograph for you.

I think we just havent seen the police state YET. When it kicks in is when all the present surveilance will be used.

When we realise that our police force IS being privatised (its happening now) then what you see in the vid below becomes significant. Theres HUNDREDS like this one. I just picked it from the many that are there.

Thanks for including the vid in your post below, I hadn't seen that before. Watching part 2 now.

I don't know if your video supports me or not in my general feeling.

I agree that the signs are there, but I still feel we are 'behind' the USA.

If this was in America, the two officers would almost certainly grab the camera and probably beat the guy up.

I've seen police officers in the UK be violent but then I've also seen many take a lot of # and not respond- your video is embarrassing for the police in question- they clearly aren't experienced but I would argue in the land of the free, that guy would not got away with that kind of talk the the police.

The police could have done more to stop the riots in the UK last year, but they chose not to. There are several reasons for this...

1. The police do not want their funding to be cut. By allowing this to escalate they had justification to demand more resources and power for themselves.

2. The government used this as an opportunity to -
a) Scare the public from protesting
b) Justify the militarization of policing in the UK
c) Increase security measures in London - they immediately had a mobile steel wall available to deploy at the first sign of protest after the riots, as if they "knew" what was coming and had it in manufactured already
d) Increase monitoring and infiltration of peaceful protest groups like Occupy

People forget one thing, we all know that the € is dead already. There is no possible way the IMF and their donor nations can afford to bail out Greece again, and Spain, let alone France, Ireland or Portugal. Greece or Spain will need a bailout in the coming months, but together they are an impossibility, that will mark the end of the €. When you have so many countries collapsing at once, it will lead to a global collapse the likes of which we have NEVER seen.

It really would be economic Armageddon.

I wish we had a comprehensive list of all the actions our governments are taking to remove our rights and freedoms, because they really are shocking. This is speeding up right now because they know the collapse is on the way. They think they are doing it for national security, but in reality they know there will be revolutions all over the world - they are trying to secure themselves.

Our nations are becoming dictatorships by design. They created an economic system that is on the cusp of imploding, and they are terrified of what that will mean for them.

They will monitor and restrict internet usage. They are already restricting the news broadcasting (even Reuters claimed the May Day protests were "a dud" before having to back down through public assault). They are actively protecting Murdoch because they need him in place to support their propaganda.

There is far too much all happening at once for it to even remotely be considered coincidental. This is a full on attack on the freedoms of the people by every government, and they are doing it to stop the revolution when the economic system fully implodes.

Good post, lot of useful info there. I agree with what you are saying, I feel a sense of it all speeding up, and whilst I think the UK is behind America in terms of advancing the police state, I'm sure they've got plans to bring all nations up to speed for the NWO.

2012 is shaping up to be about to throw all kinds of chaos at us- global economic collapse, radiation fall out from Japan, Israel/Iran, alien invasions (project blue beam), perhaps some of it is fear mongering, perhaps it will all happen at once, who knows!?

I don't know or can't say about the RFID in tyres, but have never heard of it personally. Admittedly though, it wouldn't surprise me. But when you think about it, most cars have built in or after market GPS, and pretty much everyone has a cellphone. As long as they are both on, I would suspect we are being followed that way. I wouldn't even be surprised if newer cars have that kind of tech in their onboard computers. Makes sense when you think the governments of the world (especially the UK) pushed to have older cars scrapped with this new buyer deal a few years back.

One way or another, you are right, our every move is being followed, and our democratic freedom is really just an illusion.

Michelin use RFID to enable them to manage their supply chain, granted, but this is no different than many other products. It is not something that can be traced to you and to be honest, the rubber will block the signal from anywhere apart from right next to the tyre and is only of use in managing their extensive supply chain. They have no idea who will end up with what tyre.

This is, however, totally different from the story you're giving, which is we all have RFID in our tyres tracking us. This is total bollocks. I would absolutely love you to show me a pic of an RFID reader embedded in the road, I really would. Do you realise the infrastructure that would be required to monitor a network of embedded RFID readers in the roads? If there was such a network, I would know about it through my work.

Touchy little oik, aren't you? I never called you a liar, but what is on the side of their vehicle is not their motto. Don't believe me, check it out yourself. It's really easy, you see, their is a thing called Google and you can magically look up each forces motto on there....

I'm sure you have, doesn;t mean it's their motto though. TV Police have something similiar on their cars, like I said, but their motto is "Sit pax in valle tamesis", or "Let there be Peace in the Thames Valley".

Yep, but what has that got to do with the price of fish in Grimsby? That's due to equal rights and not distinguishing them from the men.

I think you need to calm the fudge down and look at this sensibly. I have clearly laid out my thinking and it is you who are misreading it.

I am sure there are, but for arguments sake, lets have an example.

Really? Has never happened to me, but you know what is a real easy way to not get fined for putting your rubbish out on the wrong day (because if animals get to it, you have a health hazard you know)... Put your rubbish out on the right day, perhaps?

And I am the one needing a reality check, apparently.

Bollocks. I smoke and have NEVER once been fined for that.

Both Britain and Australia are in a worse state than the USA!

Britain is heavily surveillanced with camera and microphones on every street corner.

Australia has had all the new US laws which you's are freaking out about for 10 - 20 years.

The USA is not quite up to the point where Britain and Australia are.

I hope it isn't so.

I do love my country but I do see it eroding-

I don't like all the ridiculous taxes and ways they can get money off you. People don't even seem to realise how much petrol has risen lately and our wages have not raised in relation to that, nowhere near. Everything is going up in price and we just accept it.

I don't like how if you 'owe' them money they'll be on you in a flash whereas when you are ther victim, or owed money etc, there is nothing to protect you or act in your interest.

My girlfriend is owed money by her former employer and they've just been whitewashing her for months passing the buck over and over- what they forget is it is HER money! The imcompetence of the business is to the point where I think there are powers that are making it so, you can't really explain how such incompetence gets into high places in management.

There is a horrible corporate scam running where they will try it on and break the law, only there's nothing to stop them trying it on. For example, if they make a mistake and short change you on purpose, they've got lots to gain and nothing to lose- if you realise then you tell them and it's a simply a case of 'oh sorry, here's YOUR money'.

If you try it on like that you'd get arrested and prosecuted. The ssystem has developed to protect the wealthy businesses whilst the average person gets screwed over time and time again.

I guess looking at the overall picture, the immigration that is getting out of control, the increased amount of drug dealers and violence related to that is getting out of control. I'm 28, and I am telling you now, drug dealers in my area where few and far between 10 years ago. Now, the numbers have risen by dramatically, to the point where the local town centre is a no go area at night time. It's always had a rep for fights and stuff but there's that many rival drug people now- most small criminals- but it's creating way too much violence.

To the poster who mentioned an economic crash, I dread to think what it would be like to be honest, but I'm sure it's all planned and they've got the security measures in place to sort it all out for our 'safety'.

Considering we in the UK are the most surveiled nation in the world why worry ?

Americans fear ending up like us !

A total myth, this. I suppose you'll chirp in with the old "300 times a day" nonsense next. 95% of all CCTV in the UK is privately owned, such as in garages, shops or homes and is not monitored in any way, unless the Police request footage after an event.

You will be surprised to know that cities such as New York and Chicago have far more CCTV camera's controlled by the authorities than London.

Perhaps not such a myth after all ...

Despite the revelation that there are almost one million fewer CCTV cameras in the UK than previously thought, Britain still appears to have far more watchful eyes trained on its population than other countries.

One of the most dramatic revelations is that both the Shetland Islands Council and Corby Borough Council - among the smallest local authorities in the UK - have more CCTV cameras than the San Francisco Police Department.

news.bbc.co.uk...
In the small town where I live there are cctv camera's on every street corner and every set of traffic lights. And we've had them for quite a while.

The most CCTV yet when my car was broken into in a suposedly 'secure' car park in London, the police claim there is not a single piece of CCTV on the theft or anything to prove anything around the area.

I lost my luggage and my girlfriend lost hers, the plice didn't even come out when they rang them because they were 'too busy'.

In fact, the only CCTV there was on the damn paystation- hence the cameras are there to protect the carpark's owners in case someone doesn't want to pay!!

No cameras on the cars or seemingly around the area- which is of course BS but nobody seems to care!

Surely the UK is not planning this far ahead? If this document is real then Americans should be very #ing worried!
