The ISP is the first of five – Sky, Everything Everywhere, TalkTalk, O2 and Virgin Media – instructed to do so. At time of writing, access to The Pirate Bay from users of the other ISPs is still apparently permitted, and it’s unclear what deadline they each have in order to prevent it.

Piratebay is not the only torrent site. Are all of them blocked?

try the piratebay.se address. I'm currently using it, in fact.

Download is going slow, though. Could be the 3-movie package.

Try being versatile. If you only use one site to download stuff, or can't figure out how to get what you want, then you don't deserve to get it.

Skillz, bruh.

Awesome

I will celebrate when that sites finally dies, it's about dies, the people behind it hopefully go to jail as they even sold 'pirate bay merchandise' and #. And hopefully some of the uploader will prosecuted as well. # the pirates, they need to learn their lesson

Oh righteous one, impart thy wisdom of avoiding censorship -

Oh wait, you look down on pirating. Because you're just so golden, you know.

Right.

there are always alternatives.

Demonoid as an example...

As they crack down, more will pop up in other places.

Eventually moving to tor.

they don't understand what they are trying to stop, the internet will find a way.

I'm a pirate, who resents your highly inaccurate assessment. How dare you judge us? You yourself pay money to see these movies...you don't get a single dime. I find your indignation highly amusing and completely unnecessary. Grow up and stop crying.

Welcome to the internet.

Well, I'm not the golden child as you so speak. But, I've never used piratebay. Looked at it because everyone talks about it and tried to d/l once but couldn't figure out. Didn't understand all the peer stuff. Only thing I know is when you do the peer to peer everyone can see your computer. So stayed away from it.

Even if they completely tear down the internet and rebuild it. A hidden internet will be made. Your right their is no stopping it. Did you know that a movie company (I think universal) owns utorrent?

Judging from your past post it does not seem as if you have much to hide on your computer.... Even with out torrents any one can get into your computer. Even if you do not download any thing.

No peer to peer involved. You couldn't use it because you didn't have a torrent program to run the download. All that's left after is seeding...which can technically be used to transfer viruses after the fact, but no one does it, because that ruins the convenience of a video or song that has 200+ seeds...

Once again, welcome to the internet.

R.I.P TPB.

You'll be sorely missed, but won't be forgotten (at least not straight away).
