Ron Paul is running as a republican, which is one of the two major parties.

How would he "fix" the country ? Please explain. I want to know how his economic policy will be better than what we have now since every respectable economist disagrees with him.

How's this for size

Also Federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty of Canada says:
Put simply, more debt does not solve a debt problem. Anyone in small business knows that.

Seriously Peter Schiff? That's your answer?
I suppose you didnt see the "debate" with Krugman where Paul rambled like a crazy person with bad talking points.
Like I said before no serious economist is on board with Paul.

Basically everything he has said that involves the economy. Its just way too much to list all of it. In that debate krugman tried telling paul why he was wrong, Paul didnt listen.

Gold standard is a bad idea. We've tried it and it didnt work.
Pauls view on the nature of the fed, interest rates and inflation are wrong.
Cutting spending in a hard economic time is a very bad idea and will hurt the economy so badly.
In that debate he claimed the Byzantine empire never went to war(He needs a history lesson).
Ect....

I don't care who you vote for, as you are free to vote for whomever you choose. I would not vote for Ron Paul. Thinking that Ron Paul, no matter if he was the GOP nominee or running independent, would somehow break apart the two party system is...ambitious.

If Paul were elected President, he would be dealing with a two party Congress, almost all of which disagree with him. You think Obama hasn't gotten anything done? Congress would make a Ron Paul Presidency the most worthless four years you've ever seen.

I'm always astonished by this Ron Paul unquestioning Christlike worship. He is just a man and will cave to the big money corporate interest just like all of those that have gone before him.

Ideas don't equal power! Integrity isn't power. If Dr. Paul really had any integrity and actually cared about the
American people; He wouldn't be a Republican.

In America the power rest with those that have the MONEY and GUNS. To explain....the corps have the money and the cops as well as the military do their bidding. ex: Wars for oil !

Do you actually think Dr. Paul can influence that kind of power. I Don't!!

Wow, are you serious?

1. Yes he's running as a republican to get all the republican votes away from the other pawns...

2. Economic policy could be better... dude do you even know what your talking about? Ron Paul is the only hope for real change, He would : 1. end the fed. 2. reinstate the gold standard. 3. bring the troops home and have us bunker up instead of policing the world. 4. he's the only person that votes no against taxes consistently. 5. he is a man, but look at his supporters compared to the others. 6. majority of armed forces and reservists support Ron Paul. 7. Ron Paul is the only person that hasn't bent over for big business.

You are wasting your time. People like gorgi think in order to get out of credit card debt you need to open more credit cards & in order to stimulate the economy the government has to pull more money out of it & spend it in their typical wasteful & reckless abandon, etc.

Arguing economics with a keynesian is like discussing Columbus' westward India travel plan with a flat-earther or a constitutional republic with a congressman. They'll never understand.

TPTB are scared of him, IMO.

Ron Paul supporters need to do what ever they can in their power to help him win.

We all know Obama and Romney, Will just continue down the same path...

While we all stick are heads in the sand. Well you know what I'm not going to stick my head in the sand, And I hope others rise up as well.

Enough is enough. Ron Paul Revolution is on it's way.

His supporters are actual people that want change.

While Obama and Romney's supporters are all big banks and big pharm...

And they just want to keep lining their pockets at others expense. What a sad scam we let them pull on us.

It's all about control.

If you don't want to be controlled vote for Ron Paul. He's the only hope for real change.

dude are you kidding me. Ron Paul would take us out of all the foreign countries, change laws, and bring real change.

The other two are same as the old boss. Old boss meet the new boss , same as the old boss...

Obviously it's not working and no one want's to admit it.

Ron Paul is not the same boss... Look at his voting records. Look at what he want's to do.

He want's real change... Not like obama who just promised it and didn't deliver. And romney, OMG why would you vote for this character?

I know what he wants to do. He wants to turn america into a third world nation. He wants to default on debt. He wants to outlaw abortion. He wants to cut funding for our schools, and the most needy of us.

Ron Paul is no different. In fact, there is a very good chance, he is worse.
