Looks like I'm a little late out of the blocks this time...

Here's the first of the new contest;

Six Days [MAD]

Going to read all the entries sometime tomorrow, what I have seen so far is brilliant...

I think my local library is going to go bust at this rate.

I thought I would give it a try.Never have been much of a writer so we will see how it goes.

Thirty entries in four days? Wow.

It's going to take an evening of reading to catch up and flag all of them. That's something I look forward to.

Personally, I placed 2nd in the last contest, and I have a rule against winning 2 in a row. It's not fair, especially when there are other members out there producing quality stories just as deserving of winning. So I'm bowing out of this month's competition, for personal reasons, but I will be flagging every entry as I read them. I'll be dropping off comments, and perhaps find myself with a bit more time for making more entries into this thread I started, that masqua has graciously stickied.

An honourable idea. Since I was fortunate enough to win last time, I too will opt out. Please enjoy my story (may even write another) but I wish to be just a by-stander.

You are an honorable, evil bunny Beezzer. However, I will say that as someone who entered this writing contest as well, it is entries by people such as yourself, Druid42, and many others that push the rest of us to write better and be more creative. Fair is fair, and a little competition is healthy. If you win...you deserve it, and the rest of us will drive ourselves harder to beat you next time.

I like to write. I enjoy being evil. I'll stay in, there's no assurance that I'd win anyway. But I just wanted to share the oppourtunity.
