The oil needs to be changed in the Matrix.

I am not sure that I want to know that either.

The dead, thems the lucky ones. What about the maimed and injured and traumatized and those dieing a slow painful horrible death?

The oil companies should certainly be compensating the native peoples in the region of the tar sands.

And people should be using HHO instead of fossil fuels.

But they are on a suicide mission and trying to destroy the planet.

If this is earthquake related; does anyone know if this is near or on a major fault line?

I can't find a major fault line, but I believe the area is part of the Great Lakes tectonic zone & the St. Lawrence River Divide which separates the Great Lakes Basin from the rest of the Atlantic Ocean watershed. Found a nice map here.

Also, why would it be heard in Canada, come from the US and not be heard here in the US, allegedly? If it is related to the loud booms..

Semper

I think that is puzzling too. But the same thing happened in Clintonville, Wisconsin. When the first reports of the booms came out they were all centered south of main street. Then the USGS said "hey you all had a little earthquake and it was centered under Main Street". My question was if it happened under Main street, why was there no reports from the north side of the road. No one seemed to have an answer.

Makes me wonder if it has something to do with water ways.

How on earth could they know that it seems to be coming from the US? LMAO Maybe it's the Canadian government doing something they shouldn't be and just trying to point the finger away from themselves. Noise?? What noise?? us?..no, no.. hey, look it must be the US doing it. US is evil, yes, yes it's them alright! LMAO

I have never heard these sounds, but I have seen videos (which of course we know would never lie! LOL) about these sounds all over the place, not just US. In my opinion it is humans doing something or messing with something they shouldn't be or it's something going on in the earth. Either option seems unappealing, unsettling and a little disturbing to me.

The Canadian investigative team is on the 'quick march'!

Hut Hut Hut Hut Hut

Down Windsor way, the maddening Hum of Zug Island is serious. It’s like a sci-fi threat to civilization as we know it. Or at least to a good night’s sleep.

Lately, it’s even become the subject of delicate international diplomacy.

That’s why no less a personage than Bob Dechert, parliamentary secretary to the minister of foreign affairs, was dispatched by his boss, John Baird, on a reconnaissance mission to Windsor and Michigan to find a way to silence The Hum.

When it comes to foreign intrigue, Dechert’s as good as it gets in the Harper government.

www.thestar.com...

I watched an interview with Bob Dechert just a couple of hours ago and he seems to think it's a serious enough concern, as well as his overlords in The Harper Government.

We'll see what comes out of it.

Apparently, this all started in March, 2011, so I'm putting my money on Zug Island and a company doing some construction work.

I live in Chelmsford, Essex in the UK. I have been hearing the same annoying, low frequency hum now for about 2 years. It can be heard in the day and keeps me awake at night as it is more of a deep vibration coming from all around than merely a sound. Closed windows do not stop the intensity. I have moved 3 times in this 2 year period and this has made no difference to the intensity of this sound. I wonder if anyone else in the UK is hearing this? I know that my wife can hear it also, but not with the clarity/intensity I do. Strange and very worrying...

I believe the ground beneath America is being cut out and fitted with enormous rockets and in the near future, America will rise out of the ground and become the only floating nation in the world. It will then roam the skies of the Earth, raining destruction down upon it's enemies.

Not to get off topic, but you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Even if Canada doubled it's population it couldn't even come close to using up the current tar sand resources, the amount that is in the ground is enormous not to mention the fact we don't have nearly enough refinery's to process the stuff. Instead it was Obummer that decided to turn down the pipeline in favor of keeping the trend of importing oil from places like Saudi Arabia, a country that *should* have sanctions imposed for it's human rights violations against women; you can add China to that list too.

The only people to thank for high oil prices are oil speculators and the Canadian government that tax the living crap out of people when it comes to the pump, and since fuel taxes are based on a percentage the higher the speculators push the prices, the higher the tax revenue for the government.

No, it is not.

The boreal forest comprises some 35% of Canada's land mass, or approximately 3.5 million sq km. So I'm not overly concerned with 662 sq km that the oil companies are currently surface mining.

While you definitely shouldn't believe everything that oil companies try to tell you, you also shouldn't swallow everything that environmental groups say either. Most environmental groups live off of donations. Its in their best interest to to make things appear worse than they actually are as few will donate if things are okay.

Sorry about being off-topic with regards to sounds coming from Zug Island. I do find it funny that this only just broke in the States when it was on the Canadian news at least 10 days ago.

I have determined the source of the low, harmonic, rumbling noise heard recently in Canada.....

It is the all the hot air being released from King Stephen and his cabinet ministers!

I know....off topic but I have to respond...

I agree with you...Europeans who have never been here, do not understand the vastness of this country. The area in question is basically a drop in the bucket: remote and of little other "economic" value. The real tragedy here is that Stephen Harper allows oil companies to sell the stuff cheap and then we get it back in refined oil and pay for it through the nose!!!

I propose we keep and refine our own vast reserves of oil and not share it with our greedy neighbours!

50,000 displaced animals???? I have that many in my back yard...I wish people would stop dissing others without understanding the context in which things happen.

I do not see what the big problem is about finding where the sound is coming from. It is almost as if someone wants it to say a mystery. There is detection gear that can hear the sound of a gun and tell you the angle and range it came from. Sound travels at 700 MPH or so and radio travels at 186282 MPS or so. You could link a bunch of microphones by radio and get a fix . You would say" Lets see the sound reached Mic #12, 2 milliseconds before it reached Mic # 8 so the sound is coming from that way"
They have detection gear that can hear a mouse piss on cotton at a thousand yards and tell you what sex it is and yet they can not get even close to finding the source. Like I said it is as if someone does not want it found

Aww muffin. Maybe you should take a look in your own backyard before claiming "disgust".....

londonminingnetwork.org...

Looking at eight case studies, the report, UK-Listed Mining Companies & the Case for Stricter Oversight, argues that: Many mining companies listed in London have very poor records of complicity in human rights abuse, environmental pollution or destruction of people’s cultures and livelihoods around the world. Once listed in London, some mining companies have continued to flout the law in the countries where they operate, or engage in damaging tax avoidance, or break accepted international mining industry standards, with no move by the UK Listing Authority to discipline them.

Get back to your crumpet and tea.
