The continuation, of the beginning, of the oil wars

To me when I see the goings on in the Middle East is that the peak has passed and the fighting has begun. This is more of the bullying phase currently. The smack down drag out kick you in the balls phase comes a little bit later. Engergy, materials.... So a bunch of people get to run around bragging about what they drank at starbucks, their vacation in disneyland, that new Ipad they bought. Poo poo on their fellow man, they gots chit to brag about. Errrr, anyway, enough of that...

So I came across an article on the BBC that caught my attention. It was about Argentina's YPF oil and gas company. What is happening is that President Cristina Fernandez is going to nationalize about 51% of Repsol's (Spain) shares. Pretty much a go "F" yourself gesture. Hugo, everybody remember Hugo? We he did this not long ago.

Now before certain people come out of the woodwork about that socialist female dog let me mention something. Argentina went through a financial collapse. Argentina, please tip your hat to those leaders you let run your debts up and the IMF that broke your back like an 800 lb woman on a pony. During this collapse their currency went down the tubes and everybody was kungfu fighting and quite hungry. Luckily a kind benefactor came along and said "Oh, you poor starving people. Let me take that big ole bothersome oil company off your hands for pennies on the dollar". Then there was joy in the streets. Nah, I'm kidding. The people just kept on suffering.

So it was a damn good deal for interested countries until recently...

Repsol not happy about nationalizing oil

Argentine oil firm YPF has vowed to keep providing gas supplies as the dispute over its forced nationalisation continues. The firm said it will keep delivering liquefied natural gas (LNG) to customers, after Repsol decided to cancel deliveries. YPF's controlling stake, owned by Spain's Repsol, was effectively seized by President Cristina Fernandez's government. Spain has threatened to retaliate.

Some people may think this should be in current news but I digress. This is all about, Lololol, the end of oil. The thing is people are unable to step back and realize they are currently in a historic moment. What will history say about our day in the sun when a few generations had flying planes, computers, and houses that heated and cooled themselves?
