If you were execute a Chinese military invasion would invade America or Australia?(Or whatever country was deemed strategic)

Let's have a scenario: the US had lost it's superpower status due to being consumed by civil unrest and economic turmoil. As consequences the US was paralyzed economically due to the dollar collapsing and oil prices reaching $200 dollas a gallon and withdraw all overseas troops (Including those in South Korea and Japan). You as the Chinese leader found a great opportunity to start a conquest. So you annex Korea,Phillippines, Japan Malaysia, Cambodia, ad many other Eastern Asian Nations. After that you realized that China needs more resources and it wants to invade a country that has one. You then see Australia and America as a possible choice. However you have ony enough military strength to invade one country. You consult with your generals on which country should you invade by analyzing pros and cons.

Australia: (Note: US also withdrew it's overseas troops there also)
Pros:
Has lot's of Resources (Uranium)
Farm= food
Not many people own guns
Very close by
Slave Labour

Cons:
Harsh Terrain
Strong military
Has many allies even if the US is in turmoil (If US can't help then Britain will)
Well many Aussies will kick their butts by other means if they can't own guns

America: (Note: Before the invasion you plan to launch an emp to cripple America)

Pros:
On Turmoil
Farm=Food
Resources
Slave labor
This country owes debt to you

Cons:
Too many people own guns
Military is strong despite economic turmoil an d emp
Many people will be far more willing too fight.
Militias= La Resistance

So folks which country will you invade if you are the Chinese leader

invade for resources ?

the US has abundant and diverse natural resources, complete with deep water ports and pipelines

but um, yeah what about the stealth bombers, aircraft carriers, nuclear drones and bio and chem weapons ? whay happened to them ?

If i was china i wouldn't even need to resort to using force, just economic warfare

What someone shared as his beliefs was that China would be operating under the true dragon of old, N.Korea, and that they would have diplomatic relations with Australia and Canada, so more just arrange to take what they want peacefully, but they would attack the US, or take it over as a part of its empire, to show they were the New Empire, or the Old depending on how you look at it. This freind took me on a kind of RVing Psi trip, where I saw subs in the ocean, and he said he had counted numerous Chinese subs off the coast of North America.

America is now and will forever be a stepping stone to canada,no one wants Americas wasteland,Canada is literally a critical component of the planets future,their resources are becoming next to Africas the most critical supply on the planet,China will come for Canada before America,they can own america that way,and America cannot fight a groundwar along a border as big as Canadas,and no matter how it starts any war with America brings in Britain and Canada and many others,so the only logical plan is to come from Canada,create a long border conflict and take America,there will be no nukes used if a groundwar can covertly be executed.

I think the chineese government could place several million soldiers sympathetic to them in America and Canada,and really just cripple the country from within.and not have to destroy everything.Just hitting the domestic water supplies with a non-toxic but crippleing flu bug would weaken the entire country.Then the food supply,then energy then communications,all from within.You could flood the country with drugs of all types to weaken the resolve of the populace,you could promote the fractureing of the family unit useing tactical marketing and advertiseing and cripple families and damage esprit de corps,you could encourage abortion to slow population growth as a tactical measure,you could flood the country with toxic childrens toys and consumer products that contain chemicals that promote infertility in the men as children to further cripple population growth,you could introduce venereal diseases to the youth that cause infertility tacticly to even further soften up the populace,and you could keep flooding billions of tonnes of this poison into the country over several generations waiting for the tree to ripen,then you could ready your 30 000000 unmarried and blue-balled men to bear arms as a way to vent their naturally and tacticly nurtured agressive tendancies. remember there was a long term goal and reason for the male only birth practices in China,and we can now clearly see where and when that population dynamic will peak,and it is very soon,all those single unmarried men were tacticlly birthed,and we can now see the timetable,and it doesnt look good,the fruit is almost ripe,just as our boomers age and our armed forces numbers reach critical lows and put us in an almost terminal numbers disadvantage ,Chinas 30 000000 single men are ready to fight for the right to find wives.

I havent even gotten started and there is so much more,but this is an ugly scenario,and lets not give it a chance to manifest by verbaliseing it.

Neither I would just stop accepting the dollar as currency and globally denounce the US and its policies then I would wait untill it begged me to come to aid.

Australia... get the enemy off the back porch first then chase him home

America and Australia.

First I would destroy all hard-ground ICBM sites and military bases via satellite weaponry.

I would finish it off by destroying both navies.

When it's time to invade I would use an "aerial bombardment - occupy area" strategy until I win.

Australia has the world's largest iron ore and other natural mineral resources including offshore oil reserves with 22 million population, the USA has the world's largest oil reserves with 350 million population. I'd probably gor for Australia; long term - worth more.

But Russia is one of the big boys. Big boys are better left for the end. If you enter Russia you are opening up another front. It's in your interest to have as few fronts as possible.

More fronts mean less power.

China won't invade Australia any time soon. They are smart enough to realise that it is just cheaper to buy our resources than to try to occupy a continent by force. They may have millions of foot soldiers, but they still have to get them here across a lot of water. The logistics of food and drinking water alone make a ground attack totally unfeasable. If there ever comes a time when for political reasons Australia will no longer sell resources to China, then it might be different...

the Australia scenario would only be if they wanted to solidfy dominance within Asia and as a pre-cursor step towards owning Antartica I would assume.

but even then you'd have every western nation step in on behalf of Australia.

and America isn't really a feasible option unless you EMP it at the same time as you have like 500,000 ships storm the west coast with a 1 billion man army in wait with reinforcements and amazing gear and hardware.

it would be like 3000 d-day normandys all along the west coast lol..

You hit the nail right on the head, they can just take our resources using US Dollars ( monopoly Money in their eyes) and not have to use a single bullet in the process.

People have to understand the benefits of Dictatorships, the leaders don't have a 4 year window to make things happen. They are patient and will use their 2000+ years of civility to extract a passive outcome in their favour.
