China won't invade Australia any time soon. They are smart enough to realise that it is just cheaper to buy our resources than to try to occupy a continent by force. They may have millions of foot soldiers, but they still have to get them here across a lot of water. The logistics of food and drinking water alone make a ground attack totally unfeasable. If there ever comes a time when for political reasons Australia will no longer sell resources to China, then it might be different...
