LOL I equate it to finding dog poop on a wedding cake. I HATE tattoos on women!

I have one tattoo and waited a very long time before i got it.
It means alot to me it is two roses with the vines and thornes wrapped into a heart, It represents
my mother and I, the big rose represents my mum and the small rose represents me.
We have been through together and it represents that we will always be there for each other no matter what we go through in life. I think it is very tasteful and is slightly lower than the back of my neck and i can hide it, if i need to.

I will never regret my decision, even when i am old and wrinkly.

Child to mom: Look what I drew on the walls with a crayon ma!
Mom: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Adult child to mom: Look what I had inked on this body you gave me ma!
Mom: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Yup. lol And if a girl isn't attractive, why bother anyway?

Really? I'm not seeing it. Most everyone I know, male and female, sport ink. We enjoy a new tat that is awesome, no matter who wears it. It's a persons expression.

i know right? i mean im sure shes a nice person, wonderful mother etc but its a bit extreme. i have 2 tattooes and more planned plus a load of facial piercings. the tattoos, i can cover them up for job interviews and such like and the piercings i can take out but she hasnt left herself with that option

But WHY do you have to do permanent things to your body????

Though I am not religious, I can't help thinking how the bible says that in the times of the antichrist everyone will wear the mark of the beast, but doesn't describe what that mark is. With tattoos becoming mainstream, how do we know that tattos aren't that mark?

Who are you to judge me?.
Yeah you're real cool just because you hate tattoos on woman doesn't mean you can poke fun at other people
FYI my mum hates tattoos she does not have one, nor does she want one. She respected my decision to get one beacuse of my reasoning behind it and the design i got.

Haters gonna hate no matter what, ##snipped##

You don't even know the struggles we went through together. If the shoe was on the other foot, I would not judge you. Some people ugggh.

And I am not some kid who just up and got one. I am an adult, and I am resposible for my own decisions

Hey, I'm old, but I can still look at young pretty women. But when they bend over and reveal that black tattoo on white skin just above their butt, I stop looking. It just shuts me right down.

You're a dirty old man.
Just kidding. Ink is an expression of a person. Many different colors btw and women tend towards, what to call them, colorful colors. It's really very pleasant to see.

Judge? Lady, you can tattoo your face purple for all I care. It's you judging me for not liking tattoos on women. And, just the way you attacked me says you're a real prize. So glad you're not MY kid (who, by the way, has a large green lizard on her back)!

My wife has 6 tattoos, 5 of them before we got together.

Personally I see tattoos as a form of sacred art.

I feel that if you are going to tattoo yourself you should make sure it has very deep meaning and that hopefully the meaning will never change.

But Tattoos on women?
Personally....
I think it's sexy..
even more so if it has spiritual meaning.

You just like to make fun of me because of what i got it and what it represented.
I still think you're a douche.

Your daughter is brave going up against you. I could just imangine what you had to say.

She didn't have to go against me. She likes tattoos. I don't. She likes being a vegetarian, and I like beef. But, it's her personality that makes her my pride and joy, even though she's now 36. Unlike YOUR personality.

So, if I'm still a douche, then please PLEASE stick me in your ear and SQUEEEEEEZE!

You calling me a dirty old man?? Okay, okay, you're right. lol Seriously though, this thread asked for my opinion, and I gave it. But that doesn't mean I want everyone to stop being themselves. Tattoos don't hurt anyone or cause wars. If my daughter said to me, "Dad, I'm thinking about either going off to war to kill people, or staying home and getting a tattoo of Bozo the clown on my butt," I'd drive her to the tattoo parlor.

Just because I love showing off how much my tattooed, vegetarian daughter and I get along, the image below shows how many times she's emailed me in a YEAR! I had to create a folder to keep all her emails in because I love them and can't bring myself to delete any of them. And this doesn't count visits, phone calls and regular mail! Do you connect with your mother this much? Scroll the bar to the right to see.

Now THAT would make a great tattoo! Only, I'm picturing Bozo's nose on a boob now. Oh gawd it's official, I AM a dirty old man!

perhaps that is why Bozo is smiling

Now let's get serious here. Two bozos would be absolutely ridiculous. I'm thinking a captain America shield on the other one.
