I've always enjoyed coming to this website as it is an excellent alternative website for news. The demographic of this website seems to be aware of how the world is run by a shady, elite few. It's common sense to most of us here on this website. It's also common sense that the President of the USA is a puppet to these Elite few.

Then there came Ron Paul. A man who is against the establishment that these elite endorse. For most on this website he is "the Man". I agree that with them. This man can restore liberty. But why the haters?

So for those that dislike Ron Paul, why do you want a Puppet to be President? Do you dislike Liberty? Do you want to see the continuation of having your rights taken away? Do you enjoy that the federal reserve is counterfeiting money? Do you enjoy seeing people die because of wars that follow an unknown agenda?

I can understand how he's not winning because most Americans are still Sheep that are unaware of what's going on with the world, or just don't care. What I don't understand is how people that are aware of the problems with the world and the USA are still hating on him? What's up with that?

i don't know if calling the president a puppet is accurate, but maybe a president needs to be kept under control.

the last thing we need is someone as president that thinks he doesn't need to be bound by some sort of control.

if ron paul was so fantastic, he'd be able to do all of the things he talks about without being president or in the government at all.

fact is...he needs our resources. without them he is nothing; thus, he will be controlled.

Ron Paul is not winning because he was not annointed by the uber-elite who really run the show. If you really think that this voting thing is on the level then...pull your head out of the sand.

Of course having a puppet as a president would be very convenient if you where the one holding his strings.

Or someone employed by him.

OP, because Ron Paul is a puppet too. Hanen't you ever heard of the game that law enforcement Agents play on their detainees? I had it done to me. It's called "good cop bad cop".

It's easy to research RP's elitest roots and connections. I just posted vids about it elsewhere.

Ron Paul represents what most intellectuals desire...a change to the system...and the "system" cannot stand for that. They need for their dominance to continue...a puppet...a whore...that will sell themselves and their ideals for the title....

This is not what real freethinking....freewilled human beings want....so...we have a conflict. This may well be the line in the sand for the true American people...give us RP and his values or give us death....(see...play on give me liberty or give me death)

RP stand for the Constitution and the old fart has proven he is steadfast in his position....though I don't agree with all of his ideas...I agree with his principles....and it is...principles over practice in the modern day and age....if you want the system to continue and degrade even further...by all means...vote Romney or Obama....if you want to see thngs turn....vote Ron Paul.

It is unlikely we will see major changes in his terms....but...he will set the stage for profound changes to come....you just have to open the door....if you do NOT open the door...you have no one to blame but yourself when the Oligarchy/Plutocracy takes control.....

I disagree....his position against the Federal reserve is pretty "freethinking" compared to the other candidates that lick their @ss and say thank you....

edit to add:

Why do we need a privately owned and controlled corporation involved in our sovereignty to choose whn we will inject additional monies and currency into the market?....answer...we don't...it is a gigantic scam and the American people are morons for allowing it....does England, France or Germany have such an independent, private, profit making organization....no.

It is insanity that we allow this to continue...it shows just how long personal corruption has been alive in our financial system....

Andrew jackson, Abraham Lincoln and...Theodore Roosevelt (to a lesser extent) has fought against the Fed for years....read...learn....rebuke...it needs to go and a sovereign nation needs to control it's own currency...period....

are you saying that Ron Paul came up with the idea to abolish the Fed or that he came up with a plan to accomplish the task that no one else had ever thought of?

i suppose the idea destroying a 100 years old American institution is strangely unique considering all of the problems nations have always had regarding a stable currency. you'd think that people would just be happy to know that the money that they do have can buy stuff...but ya'll want more.

is he going to replace our money with those coins with his face on it?

the thing about putting your face on money is that it'll make you easy to identify when you screw up.

remember how Louis XVI got caught?

LOL...that is a good point!

I am saying that RP is fighting the Fed just as hard as the very clever and successful predecessors did....AJ and AL were extraordinarily successful Presidents and their legacy should be looked at...they both decided "F the Fed...this is what we need to do"....and they were successful. Licking the Fed ass is not going to ever end in a win for the general population. They are profiteers....for God's sake...just look! They are not your friend....they don't care if they devalue the dollar....they get their cut based on volume...not value....jesus...it's sooo scary that people don't get this....

Just think....the Fed is NOT our Friends...they are Profiteers....they do not care about the outcome of their influence...just they get a percentage of what they authorize to print.

perhaps they, the Fed, are all of these things, i wouldn't know one way or the other.

but when considering the idea of winning something, i know a lot about that.

sometimes, perhaps this is one of those times, things find everlasting life by being destroyed and for that end they would hope to attract an attacker.

Iran, in my opinion, is obviously doing this very thing...attempting to lure an attack.

so, when viewed in this framework, Ron Paul becomes not the person that wants to destroy the Fed but the person that wants all the bad people that work there to be able to have a new life as something else and the only people that would benefit from it are the ones directly involved in the scheme.

because the great Ron Paul has determined the problem my strategy would be to ensure that it lives a long life.

he's setting you all up. but he's not setting me up.

What you fail to mention though is that is how it is for ANYONE who want's to change ANYTHING on this planet.

Anyone who wants to do something about anything will need a massive amount of resources to sway public opinion.

The TPTB, they HAVE those resources and then some. But because Ron Paul is making attempts to drum up support from people (not corporations, the way it should be) around the country and fight our country going down the drain he is a bad person?

That man has had a consistent message for the past, what? 15+ years?

He is one of the VERY few people in Federal Politics that actually has a backbone from what I can gather. If anyone deserves the Presidency, it would be him.

Ron Paul is free to do as he pleases, no one is stopping him.

but just because he has done so much good doesn't mean he'll be president.

I'm not certain put pretty sure that Government is not the place for Activism.

By the sounds of it you're labelling all people who don't necessarily support Ron Paul as people who oppose liberty, which is a generalized. I don't support Ron Paul because I am an avid supporter of individual liberty. Ron Paul may talk about 'liberty' at every opportunity he gets but many of his policies are in favour of maximized State powers, not individual rights, the two are not one in the same.

This is what Paul supporters do, they point to everybody who doesn't treat Ron Paul as some messiah as a bunch of know nothing drones, and then they turn around and complain about how the media is dividing people.

erstand how he's not winning

Maybe because he's not as popular as you may percieve?

Nothing could be more true. They say that the people who truly can "fix the system," If in fact it is broken, are not wasting their time running for office again and again and again. Pondering to the same people again and again and again. They are working in industry, working in agencies, fighting for what's right and creating what the people want. But some of you call that corporatism or brainwashing. So you'll never be pleased with RP as President either. Whatever happened to the group of conspiracy theorists who thought that the President doesn't do crap! You think RP will ever get elected? And if so, do you think he will remain, "your friend?"
