This is an excuse to post your insights from those "that would be a cool name for a group, man" moments.

Post the imaginary band name and genre.

I'll start:

Lex Luthor Vandross and the Creaky Freaks. An indie garage band.

Yours?

We're a Huey Lewis and the News cover band and we're called Old News.

We play crappy casinos in the middle of nowhere and wear big 1980's sunglasses. Obviously we rock.

I had a garage band once called "Free Puppies". We garnered about the same attention as the subject. Hehe. If I ever started another band, I wanted it to be called "The Rubbery Mushrooms".

Neat thread.

Hope you don't mind, but for anyone stuck for inspiration, I played a game recently, where you take the colour of your underwear, and add the last thing you ate.

Mine came out as Floral printed skittles !

When I was in the music scene back in the 19_0s, there was a local band called "Larry" because the lead singer looked like Larry from The Three Stooges. He often referred to the band onstage as "Larry Homo and the Sexuals".
