A vote for Romney or Obama is a vote against Civil Liberties and American values we have defended for 200 years+.

If the people of this country voted to have Ron Paul run on the GOP ticket and they are defrauded and misled into voting for Obama 2.0. What is that?

Fasicm? Tyranny? You tell me!

Well...to comment on those that don't like Dr. Paul because of his supporters nor his message....you have obviously never actually studied the Constitution and have no idea what a Constitution based Federal government entails.

I am not going to argue. A great and wise man once said "never argue with an idiot, folks won't be able to tell which one is which"....

Suffice to say....returning to a true Republic where the Rule of Law...aka...the Constitution" Governs everything and everything not supported by the Constitution is cast out...will be the beginning of the return to greatness. And you can take that to the bank....but I would wait till after the federal reserve is broken and abandoned...

Try this one, it is funny and so true:

Never argue with an idiot. They will take you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Ron Paul the Presidential candidate is a U.S. Representative from Texas. His son Rand Paul is a U.S. Senator from Kentucky

Good question now that you have asked...I think it was a "Mark Twain" revision on the statement given above of "never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"....

But I will look it up to be sure....

Edit....it was Mark Twain but I misquoted it...here is Twain's actual quote...

“Never argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference.” – Mark Twain

I think Ron Paul running as a third party candidate will divide both the Reps and Dems

That will give Paul a statistical advantage over Both Romney and Obama.

He did speak out against it ..... here's the thread discussing the House vote

Ever been on a road trip and someone asked you why you haven't checked your mailbox lately? I'm sure it happens to the best of us.

Apparently Paul wasn't present to vote that day.

The truth is that Ron Paul has NO traction with Dems and very little with Republicans. He would primarily pulls Republican voters, and it would only matter in a few key swing states, like Ohio, where he'd help Obama.

This attitude of yours pretty much sums up my distaste for Ron Paul voters, and their candidate.

There is NOT a single reading of the constitution... even after it passed the FOUNDING FATHERS argued about what it all meant.

To pretend that you, and captain liberty Ron Paul, know the ONLY true reading of the constitution is just a joke. But it's the kind of joke that's not funny, because the comedian is screaming it in your face while calling you an ignorant idiot.

The amount of boilerplate "pro-liberty" # that gets screamed ad nauseum by Paul supporters makes them and their candidate, who also seems to think he's the smartest man in any room, look like assholes.

Ron Paul isn't the only one with a valid reading of the constitution. Disagreeing with his opinion doesn't make you unpatriotic or ignorant. Labelling someone you disagree with unpatriotic, to win an argument, is a real dick move though.

I disagree.

Several polls show in the popular vote that RP CAN beat the POTUS in a head to head vote....meaning...regardless of party, the majority of voters prefer the RP message to the continuing status quo....

Edit to add....

If Romney or the POTUS were truly smart and clever, they'd be looking at what part of Dr. paul's platform so many people are passionate about and incorporate it....but who said politicians (except for the clever doctor) are smart.

Constitutional republic is the best form of government. Sadly my country is a monarchy ruled police state.

It's not monarchy ruled, the monarchy does not set laws. It's not a police state either, but please, keep coming out with the usual cak expecting everyone to agree with you.

It's not a monarchy?
Than why does the United Kingdom wiki claim it is technically a "Constitutional Monarchy"?

I guess you know better eh?

Also please explain how it is not a police state even though there are millions of CCTV cameras all over the place and cops in the streets harassing people for the smallest of infractions?

Please forgive my rampant skepticism of your unfounded claims.

Yes yes...we have heard it all before...only Ron Paul supporters understand the Constitution

Unfortunately...they aren't so great at math to understand that Ron Paul is losing.

Welcome to America, you must be fresh off the boat.

See here in the USA we do this thing every few years called elections, and everyone goes nuts arguing and name calling and mud slinging.

You will get used to it. Don't take it so seriously.

It happens EVERY election season and only seems to get worse as the Internet takes center stage.

You should have seen some of the historical elections in the USA, like when Lincoln won the election. People started shooting each other and the whole nation went nuts.

You never count your money when you're sitting at the table. You stand by your hand until the dealing is done! We are seeing clear fraud here, and when all is said and done we will see just where Dr. Paul stands!

I will most certainly not be voting for Obama or your man Mitt Obamney

I find it funny that you, the anti-Paulite, actually post more about this topic than I, the Paul supporter, does.

In fact I checked your post history it becomes apparent that you only care about this subject, like there is nothing else important other than fighting back against the Paul crowd.

I find it very interesting that you care more about Paul than I do.

That's fine it's your call, I am not insulting you for it.
I just find it really neat.

Knowing that even the people who dislike RP spend all day thinking and talking about him is good news, it shows that he has gained significant ground so far.

Oh how clever...but...I have already found polls that clearly show Paul taking more independent votes (and that is what it takes to win funny man)...but there are polls that show him winning against the POTUS...I will find them....I know...I forget that it's not like a disbeliever is actually going to look for himself and prove himself foolish and incorrect. Go ahead Mr. clever....while I look...do the same for yourself...or are really afraid of what you might find...???

edit to add....
and there is nothing illogical about trying to make a change...true illogical thinking is to support the degredation by simply adhering to the status quo....that is irrational AND illogical....one finger at me points three back at you....
