While reading all these threads on the TSA abuse of power and other pesky things going on at our airports an old memory has surfaced from when i was a
child. the year was 1998 and i was 6 years old. flying home to ny from my grandparents. they gave me a gift to give to my mother and jokingly said
"dont lose it or we'll be mad" me being a child left it in the overhead bin on the airplane when i got off
when i remembered about it after we got my luggage and were about to walk out the door i ran right back to the plane without telling my parents what
happened. ran right through security with my pokemon backpack and went to the plane to get my package. a couple people might have yelled stop but i
dont really recall but nothing more came of it. i just got scolded by my mother a bit.
Now if a child had done that today what do you suppose would have happened? I dont think im a pessimist but for some reason im pretty sure one of the
military personnel that are kept around the checkpoints would shoot first and ask questions later. funny how somthing i did 15 years ago that ended up
in getting scolded could end up with me getting shot had it happened today dont you think?
