Calm down, the only way anyone can ever learn is to ask questions...Why discourage it, even if the answer is obvious to most? Let people learn in peace.

Anyway guys, as has been shown ( And we should all be proud for getting to the bottom of this so quickly) this is a hoax. Now, in the future, should this picture turn up again, we can refer them to this thread to help show them the truth as well.

The supposed ID of a young Obama is a forgery taken off of a student back in 98.. They also did nt have a Barcode for ID's prior to 1996 (which the forgery says late 80's).

The barcode's a definite give away.

Moving to HOAX forum... and now the discussion becomes...

How and why do these things surface and get circulated?

Ironically the discussion now stops because of the hoax label. I applaud your effort to continue the discussion. Why does someone do such a thing? Is there some larger conspiracy behind this hoax? Is this just simply obama hate? We wont get a discussion of these things because the hoax label turns people away. Meanwhile a time travel thread survived nine pages without being hoaxed. Let people think for themselves, we're not children who need pappa ats to tell us what to believe.
