Largely agree with you. The hairless ape is a threat to itself AND Mr. ET, whom may or may not have a direct interest in Earth......as....1).A science fairground of marvelous creations (not in a Biblical sense of course).
2) They have bases here, and use Earth as a strategic location or intermediate point for "Who knows what??".
3) They are actually an indigenous Earth Being, like all other life on Earth, and have kept to themselves for their own reason (Like Gorillas, Pandas, Bigfoots etc), and until the stupid hairless ape started exploding Atomic weapons and causing massive wars....were of little interest to them, other than the occasional science experiment or such like.

But all is speculation.......

I also know an Ex RAAF member who in the 1960s operated High Speed missile cameras at Womera, and who had personally filmed an "Orb" trailing/tracking a missile test (that may or may not have had an influence on said test). This film was supplied to the CO, and was confiscated by "Canberra" within in a short time.
There is also the Story?Legend? of the WA engineer who after hearing of the Pine Gap stories, undertook a camping expedition with some buddies, with camera gear etc, on the mountain range overlooking Pine Gap. The legend goes that the group observed a huge cigar UFO park/hover above the installation, in the early dark am hours, while the base and the craft exchanged blue and gold beams of "Light" from the ground to craft and reverse, and 2 smaller craft left the cigar ship and took off to return a few minutes later. This was all filmed by the camp crew. When they returned to Perth with the film and news, as a govt employee, the engineer was threatened to silence and the film confiscated, never to see the light of day......so legend has it.

So somewhere in the RAAF, MOD, there are some interesting films.....of course, this is all heresay, stories and speculation..............The truth is .........???

Two very interesting tales of confiscated UFO footage there Gort - thanks for posting.

Plenty more examples on this thread including missing film cannisters of an aborted blue streak missile launch which apparently showed 'an extraordinary object hovering nearby that is impossible to miss'.
