what's more pointless, those searching for truth, or you, coming here, posting a rant in the wrong section complaining that it's all a waste of time.

Your obviously not a person of study. Your a person of feeling....because your a person of feeling you skip over many facts since your not one of study.

Let's take the ghost phenomenon...had you studied the documented facts on this paranormal wonder....you would be re-searching more to figure out how, for example does a voice imprint itself on a digi voice recorder with no one in the room but the operator of the equip. That gets an answer to her question?

You don't have to believe...however...if your going to tell us we're basically wasting our time here on ATS investigating different oddities in life....give proof as to why they don't exist. Your word alone is like 1 grain of kitty litter stuck to the cat PoOp...it means nothing because it is not based on fact but.... How you feel.

Yes after reading the OP again you are correct. Everything is pointless to the OP and for everyone else too. It does seem that it conveys complete meaningless to everything, even to the point of no emotion concerning death and suffering. I'm wondering can people actually live by this philosophy who are not suffering from some form of depression?

We may see aliens within our lifetimes.

There may be a mega conspiracy by the reptilian overlords.

You see, if it can be imagined it can be done.

But the true secret conspiracies are the ones that are never brought to light. There are real conspiracies out there, just not necessarily the ones that forums such as these like to talk about. The common ones here are not true secrets, ebcause lots of people discuss them and think that they and only they have the one true answer to them.

And the only thing that I'll accept as proof of aliens is a body.

Never say never.

Always keep an open mind, but base your conclusions on what the evidence and the facts say, and be wary of the tricks and traps the die hard true believers will spring on you.

But what really brings me here is the opportunity to connect to some very interesting minds. I don't care about the topic as I do about the minds I meet here. Some people on this site have seen UFO's and aliens, have seen ghosts and Arch-Angels...these experiences have happened to them...but many won't believe their truths.

If you really feel the way you have stated....then why are you here on ATS? Do you just need a place to try and sound intelligent and superior and so far above the rest of us?

You know what, its too hard for people to accept what it is. No, don't tell them that their feeling of "love" is merely hormones and chemical reaction in their body. LOL. People have invested whole of their life in these things, they can't just accept the harsh truth and will keep ignoring it because they seek those particular feelings. Its just like telling the father in a church that the book you hold is a big fat lie. I have learned from my last thread that perpective shapes thinking of a person (or vice-versa?) and it is near to impossible for one to get another man's perspective for comparison with his own. Our perpective is shaped since we are born. Everyone just feels love & hate because this is what they have seen since their birth. It takes a lot to break free of that preset mindset of society and see the clear picture. Don't let these people tell you that you are depressed or are feeling low or you lack motivation or you have never felt true love and other bullcrap. There's no road map to accept things that have no clear utility for us, or possibility. Pretty soon, you're words will start to jumble up and won't look any different than a mess of characters from the home row.

Basically all you are in reality is a collection of information at a subatomic level operating in perfect harmony with this quantum computer we named the universe. At some point in life we all know we're a connection of information but we are programmed from birth to deny this sad fact of life. I can't think of one person whose sensory input perceives or lives in the reality you've described above.

Nascar fans,you have got to be in the carolinas.
Nothing but nascar and golf.
I gave up on it all,never was one of those hunting,fishing sports kind of guys.
Although that is what all my rough rider coworkers were.
Sure,I hunt and fish,but it wasn't a priority .
ATS is a site for understanding what you may face in the event of shtf.
Cause the rest of the 99 % of the populous will be ill informed and clueless.
We will be the survivors.

I would tend to agree, a human being is a carbon based, bio-mechanical structure with opposing thumbs, and is inhabited and animated by a Spirit some say is "God". This Spirit lives within the body for a time, learns things, lessons, heartache, stress, sickness, sadness, happiness, sexual ecstasy, brain receptor highs and lows, injury and childbirth. Along the way lessons are learned, hopefully, and the Spirit can move on to greener pastures on higher planes of existence.

I disagree. I believe there is a plan, a rhyme, and a reason for everything. Nothing is random, or coincidence.

I rather think humanity and 3D earth life is a grand experiment, by being or beings unknown.
