Evening show is 6 bucks.

i can't wait for this movie, i just hope it isn't hyped up to much just to disapoint.

Anyway, I believe it's out now, has anyone seen it and can give first impressions without spoilers???

saw this movie last night. It was terrible. I mean really really bad. I'm still dumbstruck that ridley scott actually made this. What a let down.

the effects and sets look amazing and most of the acting is good.

the plot and the big holes in it are a big let down. It lacks atmosphere & suspense too. Its ok up until about half way through then just goes down hill

That's a shame, but they will never recreate the mood of the original Alien movie, if that's what they are trying to do.

They're not trying to recreate it.
I read a review and it said "it's nat the horror story set in Space that Alien was, but more of a sci fi that delves into the universes biggest questions" or something along those lines, so don't expect scary but more eye opening.


It also said there won't be xenomorphs or face huggers, but there are equivalents.
