Military Black Helicopter Chicago

I just watched this video on youtube and was curious if anyone has seen this or lives in the area? Also what does the guy mean at the end of the video "For whats going to happen next month" This seems a little fishy for military to be flying so low as the people were describing with their guns out.

They said it was a drill but even the people of the area are not buying it...Let me know what you think.

been hearing choppers late at night/early morning flying over my house. I'm not far from Chicago.
it's been in my thoughts, considering how everyone here has been talking about them. then again, I'm across the street from a hospital.
but I've not heard choppers from them in a while...

This is possible but from the new reports they are saying that the citizens of the area are not used to this and the military even said it was just a drill. Seems like someone up there has there facts a little twisted.

Just wrote a post about this in another place. Yesterday morning I saw probably 8 helicopters flying in formation overhead over my office. I live near a couple of bases, so seeing one or two helicopters not unusual, but 8? I live in Arizona, so maybe it has nothing to do with Chicago. Why would they have a practice drill for Nato at all. It seems too dangerous to fly so close to residential high rises. I agree, what are they preparing for?

I think they said Black Hawk helicopters not black helicopters, as in the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk, which entered service in 1979. They weren't black.

The G8 Summit was moved to Camp David (in Maryland), but the NATO summit will still be held in Chicago next month. Most likely it's security training exercises in preparation for that NATO Summit:

(I think this is the same article linked by redbarron in his post, but with a different headline)

So, when the reporter said "...for what's going to happen next month...", he means the NATO summit. You asked what they were preparing for, and it seems likely that the answer is that they are preparing for the NATO summit.
