Say the SHTF tomorrow. What's most important to you?

So, basically...

Let's say WW3 is officially declared tomorrow, and riots based on ignorant racism and general civil frustration and anger along with the disregard of citizens rights and the government's attempts of martial law are sweeping the streets, and you're afraid of your children going to school, you won't let them leave the house. You lock your family up, or you hit the road and bug out, whatever your plan may be... no more church, family reunions, birthday parties, whatever... you throw all that away because you know the American dream of a domesticated life has shattered forever, and all you can worry about now is how to survive.

What's the most important thing you can do to prep?

What would you be most concerned about? What would help you the most? What would your actual plans be?

Would you be more worried bout stocking up on antibiotics and painkillers, or getting a gun? Would you get amazing security systems and lock down your home, or get a large vehicle and bug out? Would you stock up on food before hand, or wait for the fall of society so you can go looting? Or would you get gas masks to protect yourselves from the possibility of a released flu spreading all over the place as a bio-weapon? Would you learn how to do things on their most basic level, without electricity, so in the event of an EMP or a solar flare, when all electricity fails, you can still function civilly? Would you stick around in the city, or go to a middle-of-nowhere location?

And of course, would you be out there, fighting and trying to wake up the general public, resisting and risking your life to do so? Or would you hang back with your family and focus on protecting them?

Basically, what I'm asking is, what are your plans for the SHTF? Why are they your plans, and why is your plan important?

SHTF = Sh*t hitting the fan, basically meaning the downfall of society, martial law, disaster, WW3, the conspiracies of the New World Order all coming to pay and actually happening.

If TSHTF tomorrow, I won't be concerned about anything. Already have guns, food, antibiotics (thx Mexico), and pain killers.

People that have time to be concerned won't make it.

Thanks, mate.
If the SHTF, I'll fly. Take a look at their weapon and you'll understand.

I think a lot of us will shelter in place or have a bug out location. My basic plan is to sit tight, let the worst blow over, then come out and see what's up. I've got plenty of what we need to wait it out awhile, so no need to go looting. Need to build my ammo surplus a bit and you can never have too much water. We are 40 miles from the biggest city in the area, so I'm hoping the crazies won't get this far. But, eventually they will spread to the country and unfortunately, that's when the spare ammo comes in to the picture. But, if they don't bother me, I won't bother them.
It's my honest opinion that's what many are just waiting for. The hammer to fall, SHTF, whatever you want to call it. I think they believe it will be all fun and games. Looting the stores for TVs, video games, bluray players and cigarettes. When they start to get hungry and the store shelves are empty, it'll get really nasty.

Would hope me and the fam go out quickly and painlessly.

other than that...having a nice seat from which to watch the antics. I am not going to be a prepper. If it is time to go, it is time to go. When your heart stops beating and your brain stops firing....you'll never know the difference anyway....oblivion is like that.

If I was drinking a Pepsi it would have come out my nose!

But to me if the Fridge really was slammed real hard (LOL)...I would think your best modus operandi would be to have several options open and never just "ONE" plan. Be flexible, ready and willing to make changes quickly on how to survive. Have some food and water stock, but not overstocked (it will do little good if you have to evacuate), have multiple plans, bug out and bug in preparedness.

You can play all kinds of scenarios and make all kinds of plans, but logically it will not go down how you want it to, so best to go with the flow…

My Plans=No comment
Why I have plans=Survival
Why are they important=Duh

What is the most important? Other than a dog for early warning and protection the next most important is PA+PLUS Neutralizing tabs. The rest can be found or made.

I don't think they are actually made in Mexico. In Mexico you can buy them over the counter. Everytime I'm on vacation, I stock up. Can't buy them without a doctors visit and prescription in the US.

Hadn't thought of that! Better yet, learn to MAKE booze! Then I'll be good to go.

My first action would be to get to my son across town and make it back to my place without getting caught or worse. The second (since I already have weapons and ammo, three BOBs, a food stash, and a shelter set up) would be to head into the hills to stated shelter. From there, I imagine we will wait and survive. The only problem besides getting my son, will be having to drag along his mother and younger brother and sister. That would be a battle all on it's own right there. I'm sure she would want to wait for the government to save her. And because she places herself as a high priority, pretty sure I'd have to knock her out for the trip.

Most important to me will be my kids making it to me. We have a plan, they know to come home, but until they get there, I will be a bit of a basket case I'm sure.

Sweet. I wouldnt have to go to work and there's no chance somebody is going to travel to the boonies to collect the taxes or the mortgage.

So I guess most important to me would be whether or not my hammock stays up.
