How to post pics?

I was just wondering how to put pics in a thread.

Not just a link to an external image, an actually picture.

There is a ton of information in this thread...LINKING AND EMBEDDING!!!

Should overwhelm you with information about how to link and embed photos and videos!

Good luck!

click on tools
then click ats uploads
on left corner click on select image file
select image you want to upload.
once upload is complete just click on the picture
then copy and paste the section under "Use in Post" in your reply
example [/pic]tm4ebb6e3f.jpg[/pic]

The easiest way to post pix here on ATS is to upload your pics onto ATS (as JustBreathe11 described). Other forums are easier because all you have to do is post the link into this format, [ img] [/ img], but unfortunately ATS doesn't use that format (technically they do use this format but it only provides a link to the pic but doesn't actually display the pic into the post).

The picture itself will only be visible if its uploaded from ATS, or some other picture websites but very few. So you can use that format or the one JustBreath described.

However, if you change that [ img] [/ img] tag to [ ats] [/ ats] the image MAGICALLY appears, instead of the image link as you describe. Try it sometime.

ETA: I didn't have to upload that image to my ATS uploads. I simply changed tags, and the image appears from where ever on the interwebs. Hope that helps.

Wait, so you're saying I can take any picture link from any website and it will post its image in ATS without being uploaded onto ATS or from an actual picture hosting website? This is news to me, but I'll give it a go.
