Zimmerman in court today.

If this guy is guilty of anything he is not showing it. He looks confident and at peace with himself.

I have no opinon on wether he is guilty or innocent on the 2nd degree murder charge but we will find out in due course.

Lets try and keep it civil.

Question, why does Zimmerman's eyes keep shifting to the right randomly?

I agree with you.

However. The way this now case has been built up the whole courtroom seems very relaxed and light hearted. The prosecutor is even smiling.

Just seems strange is all.

I did notice that. It actually looked a bit weird for a while because it was so constant almost like a nervous twitch.

he should be relaxed...he's not in any danger. he just has to be held to account for his actions...evidence will be presented against him and his guilt or innocence will be determined by a jury of his peers.

Trayvon Martin should have been so lucky to be in a similar situation.

I hate to agree with FOX NEWS, and especially Sean Hannity, over anything, but I think FOX have hit the nail on the head with respect to this story.

Hannity has been saying all along "let's not judge this guy before all the facts are in", and I agree 100% with this assessment. All the other networks have pretty much been stoking the flames.

I would think that if Zimmerman is found "not guilty", there will be a massive race riot in Miami and possibly other areas in the United States, due to the intense media coverage and speculation on this story.

Hannity has been saying in the last 24 hours or so that Zimmerman might have been "overcharged", as was the case with Casey Anthony. Prosecutors overcharged the defendant way beyond what the avaialble evidence was showing, and paid the price with the lost conviction.

If it happens here, Miami will explode, and other cities with large African American populations will probably follow suit.

I saw a larger version of the video, and those eyes look very dead to me. I don't know what the twitch is though. That was just weird. At first I thought he rolled his eyes at the judge, but he kept doing it every 10-12 seconds.

I think all the race baiter's should listen to the kids mother (I've not even seen anyone mention this)...

"I believe it was an accident," she said on Thursday. "I believe that it just got out of control and he couldn't turn the clock back," she said, joined by Trayvon's father and their lawyer Benjamin Crump.

www.bbc.co.uk...

Surely if she can be so leveled headed so can everyone else!

A very courageous woman indeed.

I think you are right that people should take their lead from the one person who would be most affected by this tragic incident.

Could be a glitch in the mind-control script he's running.

He may not choose to have a Jury. He may choose to go before a judge. There, the judge will rule if any laws have been broken.

If he wears contacts, perhaps his eyes were dry.

Zimmerman can CHOOSE a bench trial...you are correct. This is also an option in Illinois.

little Trayvon got shot in the midsection and had no such option. Zimmerman appointed himself Judge, Jury and Executioner.

Zimmerman is more fortunate than his victim that's for sure.

That's the tragedy of this whole case. A boy lost his life and it is something that happens all too often.

It is good that Zimmerman has been charged, as that will get all of the facts out into the open and the case can be put to rest.

Again, I have no clue or opinion if Zimmerman is guilty of murder or not and can not concluded untill all the evidence has come to light.

Like they aren't already...I believe they are.

The MSM don't report all the horrible crimes being commited on a dailey basis...if they did you would see it's all ready a riot out there. Between the prisons over flowing as well as the Juvenile Homes....something has been going on a while now...look at all the kids that drop out of H.S. and are rioting in the streets dailey selling drugs and lord knows what else. Most people just ignore them and pretend the don't exist.

Let's not forget all the child molesters that are allowed to riot freely on there young prey.

It's all about perception....and what you believe your reality is.

I bet Zimmerman feels not guilty so there is no reason not to be relaxed...or he's being medicated.

I don't know if he's guilty of MURDER, a legal term, either. But it seems to be common knowledge that he shot and killed an unarmed child.

the strange thing about this is that most people apparently believe that if the cops say what you did is okay, then that it means that what you did is okay.

i don't share this belief.

that he killed an unarmed child seems to be a matter of fact. for me, whether its murder or not is irrelevant.

i suppose many will find a sort of comfort in his acquittal...

I watched the hearing and his demeanor was odd. I wouldn't call it calm, though. My first impression was that he was dazed, maybe even disassociated. Understandable under the circumstances, but still noteworthy.

I guess we need to wait and see if Zimmerman can prove if he was defending himself or hunting down some kid like a wild animal to shoot to kill....which I really don't think he was but this is how Trayvon's lawyers will play it out...at least that's the crap being spewed on the local ATL radio.

Zimmerman doesn't have to prove anything. The prosecution has to prove that Zimmerman committed a crime.
