Talk about hiding in plain sight. According to an article today in the Washington Post, the secretive NWO group known as the Bilderberg’s are taking applications for VP. How does a group like this operate in plain sight and not raise any eyebrows. They appear to have gotten their candidate, Romney and will now be picking the VP too.

A story in today's Washington Post written by veteran columnist Al Kamen suggests that the Bilderberg Group may have a decisive role to play in picking Mitt Romney's running mate, continuing a recent trend in which the secretive cabal has had a direct influence on the U.S. presidential election.

"Curiously, not many senators seem to be going. In fact, it may be that the only one going from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), a possible vice presidential pick, who we’re told is flying commercial to attend," writes Kamen, adding that Rubio's presence could "help boost his foreign-policy chops" just as a visit with the clandestine Bilderberg Group was key in John Edwards being picked as John Kerry's number two in 2004.

In May 2008 it was reported that Former Fannie Mae CEO and Bilderberg member Jim Johnson had been asked by Obama to select his running mate. Johnson was also central in picking Edwards after his Bilderberg speech in 2004.

I suppose they're meeting to get their game plan together and their story straight so they can feed us more BS?

Edwards told the uber-secret global power brokers of “the insecurity of American workers that persists even when economic statistics” get better, the New York Times reported. (Might be a theme for Mitt Romney to pick up on if the economy is improving in the fall.)
WaPo

Just this week Gov. Chris Christie was in Israel meeting with BiBi (maybe to kiss the ring
).

Gov. Chris Christie spoke before religious leaders at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center Wednesday to relay information about his “extraordinary week” visiting Israel.

Aside from some time spent sightseeing with his wife and children last week, Christie also met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres, he told invited religious leaders.

Christie is also planning to hold similar meetings in other locations around the state to discuss his trip.

You must ask yourself why the governor of New Jersey would be on a diplomatic trip overseas? Isn’t that type of thing typically reserved for congressmen?

It appears Rubio, Christie and others on the short list are all part of the same cabal.

They'd be dumb not to pick a Southerner. Bobby Jindal or Nikki Haley would be perfect. Southern, conservative, and brown.
As far as the Bilderberg thing goes, haven't we known this for a while now?
Why surprised?

Good Lord.

There it is in black and white for all to read in the Washington Post.

"This Is Right In Our Faces"? You got that right Frankenchrist.

And yet, you ask questions about their influence and you are told that there is nothing to see. Just move along.

Un-flipping-believable.

That would make sense for Romney because it would draw in conservatives, yes. However, you’re assuming that Romney is a legit candidate and is running his own campaign. If you read the article it appears that Romney likely won’t be the person making the VP pick. There is no chance of getting Bobby Jindal or another conservative outsider if the Bilderberg’s are indeed calling the shots. They’re looking for a puppet to do their bidding not a true conservative who answers to his constituents. I thought Rubio was that conservative but it appears he’s bought and paid for too.

It’s surprising to me because this is completely out in the open. It seems like they have no fear of openly conducting business these days even though the public is more awake now than ever.

The article is about the Summit of the Americas and the only mention of Bilderberg is:

"Edwards gave a speech in June 2004 at the Bilderberg conference that was widely credited as one reason John Kerry chose him."

Granted it's cool to see the name "Bilderberg" in a mainstream news source but this thread is not really showing the truth.

ETA:

Reminds us of a foreign jaunt made by another potential vice presidential pick back in 2004. That would be John Edwards , whose criminal trial is set to begin Thursday in Greensboro, N.C.

Jindal was a Rhodes Scholar. In other words, he was picked at a young age by these elite groups to be a leader.

As far as the "more awake than ever" comment, I wouldn't mistake the ATS community for the general public. Still mostly nappers out there!

Sad to say but I would sooner trust the results of a Don King promoted fight before I would trust the validity of the 2012 election!

I don’t think King is owned by the Bilderberg’s.

He clearly made the inference.

Maybe by not coming out and saying it directly he thinks he’s covering his tail?

Of course Bilderberg picks vice presidents, and presidents. Your vote MAY only count for local elections, the rest is pure bullshi$t.

As Thermo Klein pointed out, they work both sides (hedge their bet). Do you think they would leave it up to chance? We've talked about TPTB calling the shots for Obama. He's a figurehead. Do you think the people who elected him voted for NDAA, SOPA, more wars, etc? is it a coincidence that we get the same outcome regardless which party holds power?

what can you say...the Bilderberg's know how to play ball. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama lost...not because he is beaten but because his work is done. He's still young and could be more effective as a former President than a second term President.

Things sure look bright for the future.

Whoever is the choice for Republican VP candidate...his team should be made to pay up out the yinyang for the privilege.
