Here is a very good interview with Ron Paul. He openly talks about how he isn't given the media coverage that he should be getting.

But in my opinion if he wants to be president he should run as third party ticket. It's obvious the GOP is pushing for Romney.

People need to forget the GOP and look at americanselect if they want Paul to have a chance.

Ron Paul needs 1000 supporters in each of 10 different states to qualify. (Candidates with a similar level of experience as past presidents need 1,000 supporters in each of 10 different states. All other candidates need 5,000 supporters in each of 10 different states.) For more details, please see the rules on the Official Documents page.

I urge Paul supporters to take a look. Paul can still pull this off. Its not over.

That's because anyone with a brain knows that Romney is a tool.

I voted for Ross Perot back in the day when he ran on a third party ticket (I still have the campaign button) and I'll do it again for Ron Paul. Personally, I couldn't give a crap if it divides the Republican votes, or the Democratic votes. That's the problem with politics, everyone is afraid to vote for their conscience for fear of the other team winning. As far as I'm concerned, there is only ONE team - the American people.

I'd follow Ron Paul into Hell, kick the Devil's ass, and ease on home. Go for it Ronnie.

Conspiracy theories are fringe.
Paul is fringe.

It is probably not a coincidence that conservatives on a fringe website would support the fringe candidate, rather than the mainstream one.

But if Romney becomes president, which he won't, most will support him; just like, if you go far enough into the archives, most supported Bush.

Or maybe I'm wrong and this nation is reaching critical mass, politically/socially.

I am also a Ross Perot voter. And I said I would NEVER do that again because of the way it worked out.

HOWEVER, recently, I have been seriously considering not even voting at all in this election. Obama is wrong for America, but so is Romney.

So yes, I could see myself voting for Ron Paul if he ran on a 3rd party ticket. I voted for him in our state primary, so he's definitely my pick for someone with the only prayer of giving us REAL "hope and change".

A Ron Paul 3rd party ticket--that would get me to the polls. I don't think Romney will.

Hey, I'm listed on there as well!
I think I only have 1 supporter though. I haven't campaigned or anything, but someone did seriously nominate me and put up my profile. Not as a joke, but as a viable candidate. Ron Paul has the GOP, put GRA as the American's Elect candidate.

This is what the GOP doesn't understand. Maybe the Independents and less committed Republicans won't vote for Obama, but they likely won't vote for Romney either. The GOP is going to have a piss-poor turnout at the polls if Romney is their guy, but the Democrats will have record turnouts! I predict a double digit victory for Obama over Romney!

Ron Paul on the other hand could take all the GOP voters by default, he takes the Independents, Libertarians, Constitutional partiers, he takes the Tea Partiers, he takes the Blue Dog Democrats, and he energizes the voters, gets attention, and sets up an ideal good vs. evil, Free Market vs. Socialism, Nanny State vs. Liberty showdown!

The GOP needs Ron Paul, the country needs Ron Paul, the press needs Ron Paul, and politics in general needs Ron Paul!

Make no mistake about it, I will continue to
Support Ron Paul if he runs on a third party.
As angry as I get when I see what this country has become,I will not give up on the United States
Knowing how many lives have been sacrificed over the years to simply throw in the towel and hand the election over to the democrats for another term.
If it divides the votes so be it.

I've never been a party follower, I vote for the best man for the job. The only reason I was going to vote Republican was Ron Paul. If, and I really hope he does, Paul goes third party, I'll be right behind him. If he's not in the running, I'll be staying home election day. God help this country, 'cause Obama and Romney won't.

I absolutely agree.

But the rich globalist "elite" rulers of our nation don't need or want him.

That is why we must get him!

The CFR/Trilateral/Bilderberg put the president in office then get him to appoint every position to them and control everything... but I know I'm preaching to the choir here.

If anyone new to ATS doesn't know it... look it up.
