Unusual military activity over Fort Collins

Despite its name Fort Collins is not a fort associated with the military, it is a

city of 100,000 in northern Colorado. Recently I have seen an unusual

amount of military activity over my military free city of Fort Collins with the

exception of the ROTC at CSU. Sometime around sep. 5 a very loud uh-60

Blackhawk helicopter flew over our house. At football practice about two

days later another Blackhawk helicopter flew over. Around sep.10 two f-

16s flew over the football field. The next day 4 more f-16s flew over my

house at relatively low altitudes. No air shows were in the area nor have I

ever seen any military aircraft fly over Fort Collins in the 14+ years I�ve

lived there.
