I just started reading this thread so excuse me for not being up on the details. How much of a time delay are we talking about. I have to go to work soon so I can't quickly run through all the pages. Also, how does skeptic overlord see a concave top of the image when clearly it is convex in all three pictures?

images taken at these times....in order...

OBJECT 1: Date Time = 2012-04-11 13:41:36
OBJECT 2: Date Time = 2012-04-11 13:41:16
OBJECT 3: Date Time = 2012-04-11 13:41:15

(op got the file names mixed up in the order )

NOT only that...when you rename the images, you eliminate proof that there are MORE images in between those 20 seconds....20 secs enough time to snap more, throw something in the air, etc.....

Dude, it's an internet forum, not a 20 year sentence to hard time. Calm down.

There are enough inconsistencies with the photos and his own story to call this a hoax. But perhaps if you're willing to foot the air fare to fly out to the OP, grab his iPhone, drop it off at some analysis place, and then come back with the results, they'd reconsider the ban.

Well let's hope that real UFO pictures look like everyone expects or you'll just get banned for posting them ...

There better be more to this than SO's opinion on the matter ...

#2....By using auto exposure, program ae, 1/1,104 sec, f/2.4, ISO 64

#3....It's a 1,024 × 768 JPEG with193,631 bytes (0.18 megabytes) The Image is compressed at : 92%
with 10% crop of the 3,264 × 2,448 (8.0 megapixel)

The picture was taken right at the coroner of Ashwood Ave and 15th Ave In Nashville Tennessee April 11th, 2012 at around 1:41 pm!

He either had someone throw something in the air, or he used this application for cell phones. It's really hard to tell, my best quess is someone threw something from behind that building and he snapped it as fast as he could.

Come on! there are plenty PLENTY of threads in A&U with member pictures that dont get trashed or moved to hoax are they highly debated? YES, as they should be. but there is no agenda to keep members from posting stuff. that is ridiculous.

What about it says "im not a hoax!" ? Surely us adults can see from what may be a small investigation so far, that there is not much more to investigate... Do we really need forensic to get invovled? Or for the mods to get hold of his camera physically?

The photos themselves, and the story are enough i think. Just cant believe its possible he poisoned his dog to make it more believable...

It's declared a hoax by the admin, yet we're still clearly discussing what it could be. This was done prematurely. Now the OP hasn't the opportunity to explain the concerns we had regarding the photos. Pretty disgraceful.

The dog good have gotten sick from anything.Does not make the photos instantly fake.

Assuming for a moment spaceships (for a lack of a better word) are real, then wouldn't it be safe to assume they can stop in mid-air? Couldn't it also be safe to assume people can pause between pics? Also, if you were throwing an object in the air, don't you think 20 seconds for it to come down is a tad slow?

I guess you're saying friend threw the disc, op snapped pic 1 & 2, then friend threw the disc 20 seconds later? Isn't that just guessing?

IMO...there were more pics snapped in that 20 seconds.....then he renamed the best shots which showed us the 20 sec delay. and he renamed them wrong...going in reverse.

yes, another person could throw it up in the air. many attemps could have been made. there are TWENTY seconds missing - a lot can be done in that time....

If this is the kind of arrogance we have with investigating UFO cases then I believe they are being told to hide this stuff from the public to some level.This case may be a hoax but if it is not someone is hiding this from the public obviously.

I have said several times before that I have pics that would make your head spin but I would NEVER post them here because of all of the fallout that goes along with it.

I see it time and time again.
People get picked apart,ridiculed,insulted,called names, and # on, and that's just by the other members.
Then you have to worry about your thread getting moved to the hoax bin and getting banned.

....and the most peculiar part is, the clearer the pics, the more ridicule people go thru.
So when someone makes the brilliant observation that there are plenty of people who post pics of UFOs here who don't get banned I would tell you that it all depends on just how clear the pics are. THe clearer the pics, the more dangerous you become and the more ridicule you'll have to go thru.

What's in it for me?

THis place is a microcosm of what people in the wider world have to go thru when they make the mistake of opening their friggin mouths.
