Just a small introduction :)

So hey! I am a 17 year old kid, who is attempting to pursue a degree in Journalism. I have a very strong interest in, shall we say, things of Fortean nature. My heroes are John Goddard, and (surprise surprise) John A. Keel. I wish I could have met the man. Anyway! I am an avid researcher of things paranormal. I started with a strong interest in Bigfoot. Originally when I was younger desiring to be a Cryptozoologist. I used ti devour all those shows on the Syfy channel and the history channel, until I realized they never prove or find anything. Now I generally stick to informational things such as documentaries of a serious nature, eg Ancient Aliens, Conspiracy theories, etc. My interests then moved to the paranormal. As I am a devout Christian and realize many of these things are possible according to Biblical standards. Moving on from the paranormal, and thinking I have deduced the answer to those (I have never experienced a paranormal event, but do consider them a reality) questions that I have pursued. Such as spirits and such. My interests have now moved on to UFOS. I believe, quite frankly that they have some correlation with our future. With the date December 21st, 2012, and all that. I guess we will have to wait to see. But I also believe we are in contact with the "occupants" of these ships, and I do believe they are not "extra" terrestrial but "ultra" terrestrial. And I have for a long time. I have reasons to believe this is true, but none stem from my own experiences. (hey I am only 17.) I do believe some higher intelligence has been at work through out the ages, and still is. Call it because I am a christian, but I believe all the signs point to it. Just watch Ancient Aliens and you'll see I am right. Anyways, that was a brief intro, I hope to contribute much to this forum!

Pay attention to some of the more researched threads and replies that are sourced and cited, there is some great journalistic talent on ATS even if that isn't the posters main schtick.

Here's a few thoughts before getting onto any one of the 1000's of topical rides at Above Top Secret, also known as ATS, the world's largest Civil & Unique Discussion Community.

*** Please be at least this tall to get on any of the rides, (Johnny stretches his arm outward), and act like an 'civil' adult. This will save you a lot of future stress, frustration and possible action by one of your friendly neighborhood Mods!

*** Please remember that some members are very passionate and vocal depending on what ride your on. Before getting on a ride, you should be mentally fit, emotionally stable and have a strong stomach for theories, conjecture, research and evidence presented that may be contrary to your own.

*** Please be "open-minded" enough to understand that sometimes the ride isn't always what you might think or expect. At times, you may learn something new and 'out-of-the-box' before you get off the ride, this is a natural and normal phenomena.

*** Please note that at times the ride gets overly-heated and "it's strongly suggested" to get off the ride to regroup one's thoughts before continuing. This will also help guarantee that the ride will move forward without getting derailed or explode into a fiery trashbin.

*** Please have fun! Be aware if you act in an uncivil-like manner, use profanity, troll, intentionally spread a hoax and/or get verbally abusive, you will be removed off the ride by a Moderator. This is for your safety, & also for those both young and old on the ride with you.
