Now it is officially going to be Romney vs. Obama...It's been said this is how it will play out and now it seems to be fast forwarding to the presidency...Lets pause, stop and rewind. Who honestly did not see it going like this?
Whose going to be the next to drop out, Paul? Gingrich? Romney? imagine that

I liked elections back when they pretended we didn't know the outcome years ahead of time.

Now that everything is so predictable you would almost think it's scripted.

Romney seemed to be nobody's Number One choice, just the "most electable" or some such.

On the other hand, Obama has a hard core of enthusiastic supporters, as well as voters who merely prefer him to Romney.

What seems very likely is that one or more other Republicans will jump to a third party ticket and help give Obama a plurality.

I'd say it's high time he dropped out, some of the things he's claimed as 'truth' were positively insane, and as a whole I believe greatly offensive. Just look at the claims he made about the Dutch, who wants such an extreme pathological liar to represent their country, telling people god knows what?

out of all the things not to expect today this is one of them.

I DID NOT expect this to happen at all.

I am glad he is dropping out. Maybe some santorum supporters can switch to the Ron Paul side of things based on his pro-life views. (which is about the only thing they some-what agree one.)

Some people like me insist it is scripted.

Frankly I thought we'd see Gingrich go first... I suppose the RNC decided Rick was making it impossible for Romney to appeal to the more conservative fan-base.

Now... will Santorum be offered a cabinet position for his 'cooperation'?

ya because I love big government, and especially everything it has done with our money

More intervention over-seas
Continue the war on drugs
Continue the expansion of the nanny/police state

Wait a minute, Ron Paul is totally against all these things...

Santorum was never meant to win only give the media some extra fluff to talk about while they pushed Romney as the canidate.

Gingrich is the same way, everyone knows and knew he wouldn't win... he couldnt even get on the ballot in his home state...

So that leaves us Romney..... wait there was someone else the media ignored... why did they ignore him.. oh thats right the Establishment government cant stand him because he is always for the constitution and for ending wars, and for fiscal responsiblity which throws a gear in the agenda of the establishment.

The government is a joke, as well as the politics they play. They get nothing done.

Ron Paul or bust... romney is just another obama
