My latest photographs

I have always loved photography, but its something that requires time, and lately I have not had much time.

However, these pics, I took my time, and tried to create some really nice images.

Pretty cool. I think that last one is rude to the old tree though. You isolated the color of the younger tree to make it appear like it is the only life worth acknowledging, even though the old tree is probably going strong and has many years of life left in it.

The photographs are wonderful. You really are quite blessed with "the eye".

I thought the fresh green tree against the older tree, looked like hope and renewal, by the way. I like it very much.

You my friend look deeper than most.

Yes, I did isolate the colour of the younger tree, to highlight the new life, sprung forth from the old tree! The old tree is not forgotten, it forms the bases of that life and of the picture. Without the old tree there would be no young one, and no picture.

Great pictures! If you don't mind asking, where did you take these pics? On a game farm somewhere here in S.A?
I'm planning on heading up to the Addo Elephant Park later this year, wouldn't mind adding more places of interest to my road-trip

The right hand side of the 2nd picture is amazing. The lines on the wood look like ripples in water. It's amazing to notice how they actually are ripples in the bark, just moving incredibally slowly. Hmm.. i think like trees too much

They were all taken in the Garden Route Area. Lots of game farms around.

Many forests for your tree loving nature too!!
