Capitalism IS slave labor. Wage earners MUST work or they will die. True freedom comes through socialism. Workers of the world unite, and all that jazz...

Does not make sense. In the past when we had slaves in America the working class of free men worked so they got food and shelter just like they do today. They are two completely different systems one being slavery and the other not being slavery.
Of course it's not the same type. Come on now... Doesn't make sense now though does it?
People are fed up with the system.
Why do you think the occupy movement is going on?
By your logic i guess i could use my free will and up and quit the system. I mean if I'm not a slave I should be able to quit something. Maybe i could go find some land somewhere and plant some seeds to grow food so i could survive? Oh wait all land is accounted for in the US so i guess that is out of the question...

No it does not

"the system" works in nature too. If a lion does not hunt he does not eat and starves to death. If you do nothing you get nothing, that is how "the system" works.

Their dependency on "the system", they are going on about the 1% and how they have so much while the OWSers have so little.

You can quit and go where ever you wish. But you can't honestly think that someone should give up some land they own so that you can squat on it do you? There are plenty of places with little to no law that you would be free to go to. But you don't because you NEED "the system".
1. Comparing humans to animals is like comparing apples to oranges. Your argument should be void from this point forward but i'll keep humoring you.
2. OWS knows the system is flawed. That's why they are protesting.
3. Please list places in the USA where I can start a farm for free so I don't have to be dependent on the system.
"The system" should be like this:
Supply/Demand/Benefit humanity and the earth.... NOT Supply/Demand/Profit for a select few

The point was nobody gets something for nothing, no amount of crying will change that.

Not really, they all have something different to say about why they are protesting. In communist/socialist/utopian societies everyone works in exchange for something. Protesting this "slavery" of capitalism is a fallacy.

Nowhere, even land that would be "free" to you would be owned by someone else. So you would still be depending on the "system". You are free to move to some remote location in Siberia,Africa,Australia or South America if you would like. The do have some hippy communes all over the united states but few have strong enough conviction to actually do it. Even right now you are posting on a corporate site and your membership contributes to the revenue it generates and "the system"
www.highbeam.com...
investing.businessweek.com...
When people say they don't like the "system" it is not really "the system" they hate because they want the nice things, they just don't want to put in the time to get them. So you really want to fight the system? Start by turning off your internet connection.

That is pretty much how it goes. How much have you done for humanity when compared to warren buffet and bill gates?
