Let's just look at some hypothetical situations.

If Al Gore had won the 2000 elections, 9/11/2001 would have come and gone without incident.

If Al Gore had won the 2000 elections, and the same had happened on 9/11, it would've been his fault.

If Mickey Mouse had one the 2000 election, 9/11/2001 would have been just another day.

If Mickey Mouse had won the 2000 election, and the same had happened as it did, Mickey Mouse would have been at fault.

Bush happened to have won in the 2000 elections. If 9/11/2001 had passed by without any terrorist attacks, the economy was booming, everybody had jobs, health insurance was affordable, we were at peace with the world, no terrorist activities anywhere and there was no need to implement tightened security, the liberals would still find fault in him and be dis-satisfied with the way he's handling the country.

Bottom line is, you can't and won't never satisfy a Liberal Democrat, because they are all fault-finders, just like my ex- wife! Damn, see what you made me go and do? I've done forgot about her until I started talking about fault-finders!

If there is an attack on mainland USA before the November elections, it will be a tragedy but not of the administrations doing. However, it certainly won't hurt Bushs chances of re-election.

No one can say its so or not. Know one knows. This is a story from one person without proof as usual. A lot of people don't believe Kennedy was shot by Oswald either but there isn't any smoking gun yet that states otherwise.

Its all conjecture outside of real proof.

The proof of the Kennedy assassination is in the Supruder(spelling?) film. How does the back of the head blow out when you're shot from behind??

Bush is a power hungry pscychopath. He'll do whatever it takes to remain in power and the military muscle(I mean lobbyists) will keep him there because they are making a fortune off of this war on terror.

Bob Woodward's "Plan of Attack" shows that Rumsfeld and Cheney both had a hard-on for Iraq even before Sept. 11. Bush had authorized Rumsfeld and Tommy Franks to make a warplan for Iraq months before 9/11

Wow. Some people are so paranoid it's ridiculous. I respect your opinion, albeit far-fetched and IMO hogwash. But come on folks. Our government is not out to get us. We live in America, the lone superpower in our world today. Don't call me an arrogant patriot or a bush lover, either. I don't believe in everything Bush stands for. But to say that a man or group of men of prominence killed thousands of their countrymen and tricked an entire nation into believing terrorists are trying to kill western society as we know it is absolutely ridiculous. I believe in my government and i'm honored to live in this country, because it's the greatest country in the world. And i'm also proud to have Mr. Bush as my president. He's a strong, decisive leader, even though he can't speak well at all . There is no conspiracy, this is something you must look at on the surface b/c there's nothing deeper than the fact: Muslim extremists are jealous of western society and will wage jihad to topple it. Informed? Who informed you, might i ask? My government informed me--the 9/11 Commission report is a good read. You should read it. I'm sure you'll just shrug it off as disinformation, but it isn't, it's fact.

Maybe they actually attacked us for the exact reasons stated: No infidels in the holy land (Saudi Arabia). Notice that US forces were removed from Saudi Arabia. This of course had nothing to do with Al-Qaida's demands, since they actually attacked us because they hate our freedoms. Uh-huh.

I can say this isn't so, and I can say that at this moment it has been said many times if the elections were to be held right now Bush would win, your logic, and that of other members, has many fallacies, wether Bush or Kerry are elected as president the possibility of an attack in the US seems to be very high. Why? because terrorists have been making this claim for years now, just like they did about 9/11.

Now you want to ignore the warnings we have from terrorists, and according to you, and others, think this is proof that Bush and the current administration were/are involved in making attacks on the US?

I really have to say that this line of reasoning is lacking some serious logic and an elementary knowledge of human psychology. I have never or will ever agree with taking a life for any cause other than literal self-preservation, so don't think that I'm advocating any kind of murder, whether it be a terrorist act or a collateral damage casualty of war.

But for you to say that they're killing themselves to scare us is pretty insane. When they give their life in a car-bombing or a hijacking, it's because they are a) taking out "the enemy" and/or b) showing that they don't mind dying for their "cause". Extreme Islamic militants aren't hanging themselves and telling us to fear them because they're crazy or fearless. They're committing acts against people who they feel have harmed them, because they don't know another way to do it.

That's what is going through their heads. Our government has helped demonize anyone who disagrees with any actions we have taken in their countries. We've lost around a thousand troops in "Iraqi Freedom", go look up how many Iraqi civilians have died. Do you think that they like their new "democracy" any better than when Saddam was in power? I would say that the relatives of the dea don't and probably anyone in Iraq who has witnessed murder on their own soil.

The truth is we have had a very heavy hand in foreign policy and have had complete disregard for other nation's sovereign status. We do what we want, where and when we want to do it. This is what has bred terrorists and this same foreign policy is applauded by "patriots". Last I checked we were all equal, regardless of religion, race, creed, age or origin. I forgot where I read that...oh yeah, The Bill of Rights! Please refer to the constitution too. So if you want to believe that America is great, then it's great because of the freedoms and opportunities that were established here and we should grant every human on this planet the same respect, to allow them to make decisions without fear of reprimand and without fear of death. We have failed to do that on a global level and that's why there is so much hatred for the U.S. not jealousy.

So if you say anything about liberals or middle-easterners being jealous of the western culture, then you will be applauding and advocating ignorance, not denying it.
