Giant feathered dinosaur Yutyrannus huali found n China

A NEW species of dinosaur unearthed in China is the biggest feathered animal known to science.

Three skeletons have been found, an adult that would have weighed 1400kg and two 500kg young ones.

I think this is pretty interesting given the shear size of the fossils found. I was a little curious what kind of feather exactly it was sporting, which was also covered in the article:

"They were more like the fuzzy down of a modern baby chick than the stiff plumes of an adult bird," he said. Yutyrannus was 40 times heavier than the next biggest feathered dinosaur, Beipiaosaurus.

Soft as a baby chick, but would it let you pet it?

very nice....i myself dont but the evolution theory but at the same time id reckon some form of human lived along these guys.....wouldnt that be amazing!

I've always wondered what these dinosaurs with feathers would taste like. Would they taste like Crocodile or Chicken? I suppose we'll never know, unless some madcap scientist is ever able to find suitable tissue and DNA to clone one with. Quite honestly, if they ever do, I hope to God they never decide to replace chicken farms with these guys. I'd prefer we try not revive a species that could wreak havoc on us .... One hell of a Bird Flu if it breaks out!

What would they need to clone one up? One frozen Dino in Antarctica? They certainly could produce a fake womb(Or egg ) for it to grow in could be possible who knows what's kept in the ice there.
