For ALL Team Members and especially TEAM LEADERS to keep projects current (AND to keep me posted on team status). Projects that have fallen behind, will be restaffed if inactivity prolongs.

Volunteers are now required to state an "estimated time available", for contributing to the research projects. This ETA is so project team leaders (TL), and myself can maintain current and continuous research within the projects.

It is absolutely understood that at times it isn't possible to update within a 48 hr period as an individual, however as a team it is. Weekly or monthly allocations of time must take into consideration the two day update guideline, other than this addition and the current "Research Forum and Project REFORM" no further additions or changes are perceived at this time.

In addition, I really do insist on any one interested in being a scholar, read and familiarize themselves with the topped threads of this forum.

Even though foreknowledge and some understanding of the topic/s in interest is beneficial, all who believe they have something to contribute are welcome. These research projects are based on members of the community who wish to share what they have learned, and further study in order to continue to do so. All who are interested hesitate not to contact myself, or a Team Leader (TL), via u2u to find out about joining a team.

We would like to keep all research projects fairly organized and structured, and as such, I will post a few suggested guidelines for running your projects. This is a suggestion, but please understand that coordination and organization is a very important matter for professionally presenting your project.

Research Teams
Please keep teams to a manageable size, and keep in contact with all members to keep abreast of progress. In addition, when applying, it is the responsibility of the team leader to coordinate the team, and submit a final list to me, which will be posted at the top of the research thread. Interested, serious parties may jump in, but lets keep this activity to a minimum for the sake of organization.

Catalog
Catalog of all reasonably accessible information on the topic.

Abstract
An abstract that is 500-750 words or less.

Introduction

Time line
A time line depicting all of the major events relevant to the topic.

Commentary
Please include a pro and con statement for the topic, discussing the supporting and discrediting issues associated with your topic.

History
Any relevant historical background your topic of choice.

Link sources
List supporting links to your topic also, at least three offline sources may be required for final report.

Goal
A defined goal must be stated prior to embarking on your research. Open ended fact searching can get tedious, and tends to affect the overall organization of the project.

Progress Reports
All Team Leaders should post a weekly progress report to let us know how well you are progressing towards your goal, if you have hit a roadblock, ect.

Team Leader Score Card
Team leaders please keep tabs on your research group and make sure that all contributions are aimed at furthering the basic goal, and that all are contributing in their assigned work load.

I have, and still will be contributing to the Alternative Energy project. I will help anyway I can with it, after I have completed my work on the History project I would be willing to be team leader.

Still a shame that the 9/11 project has lost steam again, people say they will post....

With reference to the silicon based life, are you referring to nanotechnology and nurotechnology?

Ok, just to clarify things, all of the projects are ideas proposed by other members for appoval by me. Getting to the question at hand, no I do not believe the silicon based life research project is based on nano or nuro tech. However I'm sure it can be researched as such. From my understanding, the project was based on life forms that are based on those properties, instead of how life as we know it is water based.

I hope that clears up any questions.

I want to work on the Great Pyramids project, can I start anytime?

This proposed project will concentrate on informing the ATS community of every angle of information that can possibly be found about Da Vinci, particularly as it relates to Dan Brown's Book, The (ever so popular) Da Vinci Code that went #1 on New York Times best seller's list for two years in a row (2003 & 2004). The popularity and controversy surrounding this book has inspired the production of the movie expected to hit theatres in the summer of 2006. This project will strive to do all of the following:

Create an extensive book review breaking down plot, scenes, characters, turning points, key themes, historical correspondence, author's (thesis, arguments,baises, & presentation), questionable controversies and significant quotes.

Provide information on resources related to The Da Vinci Code including books, links to websites, and other interesting data including information on secret societies

Generate continuous updates on events related to The Da Vinci Code and Da Vinci himself (i.e. the recent discovery of a hidden painting produced by Da Vinci himself)

This project will be action packed for all eyes to see and become more open-minded to the world of Da Vinci.

I'm putting together a spreadsheet noting the biological demographics, employer information, official cause of death and other associated information relating to the alleged linked deaths of various biochemists.

Please let me know if this has indeed already been taken care of; I'm still doing it for my own research, but I'll still post the link to the completed work as soon as it's finished (eta Monday, August 29, 2005).

I am currently looking for people willing to participate in a serious research project on Reptillian beings/ET's.

I wish to deterimine the following:

Most common sighted type, what the average reptillian looks like, what kind of traits do they have, etc.
Their origin, where they are from.
Their culture, what they are like as a culture, if they indeed have slave/worker races, etc.
Their intentions, are they hostile or benign? do they hate mankind or are they willing to help us?
And more importantly, Do they even exist? even in UFOlogy, their existance is highly disputed, since they are so ellusive, not even UFOlogist are certain if they even exist.

i was reading to familiarize myself with the form or structure i should follow when submitting my research... one question, though...

is the list you provided above... (catalog, abstract, intro, commentary, etc.) a guideline for our research? or is this to provide direction for those submitting research ideas?

i will continue to poke around, or even look at several other research projects to make certain i have a good idea of 'how it's done', but if there is an example of 'excellent research' that you could provide to assist, it would be appreciated...

It is a given that day to day events are uncontrolled at the worst, and at best unable to be predicted for future scheduling. How ever, as a special reminder consider this forum to have an open door policy. The doors and the hinges so to say have been removed, and all are welcome.

I applied for scholar status and recieved it, and I now have my 20 posts under my belt-and I can finally send U2Us. I've been watching the progress of the most recent projects, and the ones I was initially interested in seem to have stalled. I would like very much to join a team on a THRIVING project when one comes up next. I'm even trying to hatch a concept for a project myself, but I really think I should participate in someone else's before I try to run my own. I'm here and waiting for a good project to come around.

I am looking for scholars to participate in the 9/11 + 7/7 research project, to get it back on it's feet again. There is now , unlike when the project started, masses of discussion topics on 9/11, so it would be good to start sifting through that and coming up with the most concrete overall report possible.

I'm looking for people to participate in a research project on hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen combustion, and water "fuel cells", and the uses and potential uses of hydrogen as an automotive fuel (especially when reduced directly from water).

There's a lot of info out there to wade through, and I'm neither a chemist nor a mechanical engineer, and any help whatsoever on this project would be appreciated.
