People... Is this not a conspiracy site? How could you all have missed this.

NK sets off a nuke within their own borders, blames the US, then nukes Japan.

KJI says, "Hey, we warned you" before nuking Japan.

If you can believe our government blew up the WTC, then certainly you can fathom a screw-ball dictator inciting his own war.
There's a double meaning in that last line, huh?

Whereas that's an interesting thought, our surveillance satellites would pick up a nuclear detonation in about a nano-second thus putting us and our allies at the instant ready. It would be VERY easy to convince other advanced powers that this was not the work of the United States as their satellites and early warning radars would not have picked up any incoming traffic to the NPRK. The only thing that this would accomplish is a.) confirming that they have nukes and b.) that they are clearly too stupid and careless with them and should be immediately disarmed. I'm fairly confident that this would solidify a world-wide coalition to disarm the NPRK and oust Kim Jong-Il.

Sorry if I was taken seriously. I almost never should be.

I am well aware of the fact that no one would buy the scenario. I don't even think KJI is crazy enough to think it might work.

Just trying to add a little levity.

Well actually the theory is workable. All N. Korea has to do is say that we snuck in terrorist style. But I think Kim is just blowing smoke. Plus nuking Japan just proves N. Korea has to either A. take a hostage to defend itself like a coward or B. can't actually nuke the US. Of course its not like we would ever use nukes unless we were in some kind of world war or something. I don't see why we don't blast their nuclear production facilities with cruise missles right now, just to be safe.

And yet no conclusive evidence has come out either way on the September 9 detonation in northern NK. Hmmm?

I thought it was concluded it was non-nuclear in nature...???

Seriously, if you were the Western world, would you tell your citizens that a comic book-style crazed dictator was throwing around nukes in his own back yard?
