Be careful when you chat online...

I was paid a visit by 3 cops with guns drawn all because I told some chatter to stfu..... Once I find out who the false caller is what legal recource do I have? I had to sit handcuffed in my own house for 30 min.

Wait.. and they explained to you that they actually turned up specifically because you said that to someone on there?

it would seem that you told a paid spy to stfu.

thats the only way i could exlain this situation.

say if i was the chatter and got told to STFU, i would call the cops and explain.
i guarantee the cops would laugh at me and hang up.

Yes they said I threatened a guy in the yahoo michigan 1 room.. I told the guy to f off... But never threatened him... When I opened the door they all had guns drawn and flashlights blinding me, apparently the caller said I was armed.

They were proffessional and all I was not mis treated but.... Why were they here to begin with.

I am assuming you gave your proper name and address when signing up to yahoo? Because it's a hell of a lot of effort to trace you via your IP at the time you were on yahoo, just for telling someone fo F-o.

I can't see how it happens. Tell guy to F-o and what does he do... Ring up yahoo? "Hey yahoo, this guy told me to f-o! Call the police!"

"We are the police. How can we help!?"

"Uhh hi, this is yahoo.. Umm, someone told someone on the internet to F-o. Book 'em danno!"

"We're on it!!!!!! TO THE BATCAVE!!"

I never give my name or address to things like that, so it just seems bizarre to me that people do.

I am not mad at the cops, they were fine..... I am mad that a yahoo chatter can send them just like that. All 3 were very nice guys....

I asnwered the door just as confused as they were... I am like wtf is going on? And they are ordering me to the ground.. Then say some yahoo chatter said I was making threats. I am like wth.....Person said I had a rifle.... I wanna sue this sht head. You do not send cops to a mans house like that.

I don't know. But nothing adds up. You said you were in a Michigan chat room. Your profile name suggests you are in Florida. You claim you were invaded (my word) by armed cops, with nothing but a chat room disagreement for them to go on. You said the caller suggested you were armed, which would be difficult to back up from an anonymous chat room conversation.
What info are you not giving us if this is the truth?
