End of the World is NOT Imminent!

Bible thumpers who say the world will end in 2012 should be Bible thumped! (Have you taken the time to read it?) Mayan scholars who believe the world will end in 2012 should be educated on the meaning of a CALENDAR...it just keeps cycling.
Climate change - climate gate. Death by melting, death by freezing...hang on to your sunscreen and your Eskimo parkas.
Radiation, CME, EMPs...oh my!
People who are all tensed up about end-of-the-world should find a better place to invest their tension.

I did listen to whoever it was that said, "Never let a good crisis go to waste." So what will TPTB do with such a tantilizing and omnipresent crisis as that which has been foisted upon our techno (distracted) civilization??

Unfortunately, making a thread that predicts the world not ending is about as useful as creating one that does. Last I checked none of you can predict the future, so these threads are dumb both ways.

Something is going to happen sometime to put an end to to this inhuman system of subdivisions.
Who what when are the unanswered questions that in todays world of deciet can't possibly be answered. But to claim it will never happen ? Seems like the ultimate ignorance.

Thanks for all of your wonderful comments. I see some of you are disappointed that life must go on and some relish the idea of having more time to enjoy this life with all its pleasantries and uncertianties.
For those doubters, not being here poses no problems, but just in case the world doesn't end in 2012, you might want to make a contingency plan...
As for Suburbs, I read that the population of the world could all move to TX. Everyone could live comfortably on their own acre of land. Now THAT would be a subdivision! If we just redirected the North American watershed to TX, and put in a good irrigation system, we could have an absolutely huge subdivision. WOW. I have heard it said that God made the country and man made the city, but the devil made subdivisions - something like that anyway.
As for Biblical end times, we are getting close, but still in Revelation 3. So, I woudl guess we have at least 1007yrs before the new heavens and earth are put into place. (My sympathy to all of you hoping to get out before your Sallie Mae comes due.)
