Heads Up For Those Who Cannot Get Into Chat!! Possible FireFox Fix!

Ok Ive had a long journey trying to get into chat, from anger, to frustration, I wanted to get to know members better, and I knew chat was going to be fun.

I tried everything, but couldn't get in with Firefox. After almost 2 years ( and a few rants later), I downloaded Google Chrome, and finally got in. I only used it to get into chat.

So recently I had a problem with my computer, and tried a bunch of things, and 2 nights ago, I had both windows open, one for FF and the other Chrome.

I tried to get into chat on chrome, and it said I couldn't with a picture of a puzzle piece saying that I didnt have the required plugin. With both open I accidentally opened FF, and tried chat again. Seeing the regular gray screen, I closed it, and removed Java from my computer using Advance Care System, went to the Java site to verify that Java was completely removed.

When it said that I no longer had it, I downloaded it again Java ver. 6. 31, went back to chrome still didnt work, just for kicks I tried to open it in FF, and viola!!!

I now have chat for FF, with of course the latest version FF 11.0.

I think that FF has finally gotten their stuff together, by fixing whatever was causing most of us to not be able to go into chat, while using their browser.

BTW, even though I removed Java, I made sure by going to the Java site, and verifying that it was completely removed before re-downloading it.

Well thats my "trials and tribulations of an ATS chatter", I hope this might help some of you out there. I am far from computer savvy, but I know how frustrating it is, and want to help.
