Strange find Google Moon

was zooming in on google moon photos , this looks like a skull very much i had to share...

Looks like a little hunchback skeleton with a cane.

That's a cool optical illusion when highlighted that way and certainly shows how closely the moon photos are analysed by folks. S/F

It doesn't look very skull like though , looks more like a small rock

Could be a galactic hair dryer? Looks like you might of been staring at the screen for too long, perhaps?
Isn't it amazing though that we can all study these awesome pictures! Our kids are so lucky to have these resources. I can only imagine what they'll have in 30 years time.

Is that object laying down or standing up and walking?
I can't tell if it is some rocks or an old Gray out for a stroll?

I'm not trying to be funny. At first glimpse I saw a being with legs,arms,torso, neck,head and walking-stick.
Still see it that way.

What you are looking at is a scan from one of the Apollo missions, possibly A15. Try going to the Apollo image libraries and find the original; it mat not look as "skull-like" in better resolution.

Sorry, don't see it. Just looks like a rock to me.

it's a rock. it's the perspective what makes it look so tricky.

It's the moon. There are lots of rocks. Not much else, really.

My guess is that it is a rock.

But anyway,you are right as far as I am concerned. This is just a case of pareidolia.

We humans tend to see things where they are not. For example when we see a cloud that looks like a car. It's not really a car.

Well, this rock is not really a skull... I do find it interesting to see what others are seeing in this rock though.

Three words, pareidolia.

there is a rock that looks like a HALO helmet in there also

Apollo 15 i think, cause that trench looks like it shouldnt be there, so i wanted to see it it looked mined like the trenches all over mars... Photo 31, i was looking at the photo watermark "31" then panned up a few +'s and saw the strange looking face.

Its a rock. But I guess I can play too.

Looks like the humpback of notre dame sitting on a toilet.
