What Will Happen to This Forum in Jan 1st 2013 ?

I mean, after all predictions for 2012 fail and the world is still here as we know it, will this be the end of this board (2012) instead of the end of the world ?

I think there will be a lot of "Happy New Year" posts and some people feeling very sheepish.

I have had a vision for that exact date! Freinds, brothers, sisters gather round for I have seen the future.
An angel ( alien, reptilian, spirit, robot with AI from Nebulon, annunaki of Nibiru, or whatever!) showed me the signs!

Listen carefully since this is a matter of great importance that will bring us all in harmony and unity ( the end of division and duality, the end of suffering, perfect DNA, or whatever!)

Here it is.......
We will wake up dizzy and confused from the great transformation of our DNA code, some might vomit and have a huge headache, some might wake up in some unknown to this date environment, some may even have memories of doing crazy stuff.....

Ooops, my bad, that's just the drinking from new years eve, my bad everybody false alert!

So the moral of this story is if you drink on new years eve, do yourself and everybody else a favor.

New Year on the New Earth

This forum .. no sure it will still exist sadly

It will carry on, with participants sharing stories of the Galactic Federation of Light swooping in at the last minute to divert Nibiru. Others will boast of the miraculous new spiritual powers they feel have "awakened" in them. No-one will admit that nothing happened.

It should be shutdown and binned. Or thrown into the HOAX forum or biggest ATS fails of all time

The very same people preparing for the end will make a new 2012 forum: "The 2012 CONSPIRACY" and that will give us years to ::ahem:: theorize...

It won't have been ATS that has failed, the 2012 theory is a much discussed subject on and off the net, no different than 9/11, JFK or the moon landings. Just so happens that we are approaching the date of this one.

Just a bit more poiniant, however no different than every other prediction thread posted here.

Personaly, i'd love to see the Prediction forum gone after 2012, but thats just me.

It's getting a bit silly now with the slightest dream and guess being posted. Last night i dreamt i was going to be reinlisted into the army, and i woke up in a blind panic because i'd somehow forgoten how to ppolish my boots.....don't think it will happen though so i don't think i'll start a thread on it.

Are you sure you don't want to post that dream? I'm sure if you spun it as "PROOF!: The Government is Controlling Us Through Our Dreams!!!!!!!!!!!!!" it would become one of the biggest threads on here.

what if an EMP / bomb / flare goes off well before Dec.21 and you can't access your PRECIOUS internet ... will you cry?

Probably sit back and urinate ourselves laughing as we go through the old doom and gloom prophecies from the doom & gloom Meister's. We will laugh at their failures and reflect how stupid and narrow minded they were!

Should everything fail in 2012 they will say they were off by a year and it will all happen in 2013!

We will all still be here January 1st, probably discussing how the dates on the Mayan calendar were misinterpreted and miscalculated, and how the real apocalypse is coming in the form of an alien invasion, hidden behind a rogue comet that's only visible from the south pole with 3D glasses on a Thursday night.

Despite all the doom and gloom "prophesies," there is no way to substantiate the claims that the world is coming to an end.

The Mayan calendar is coming to an end you say? Meh. My 2011 Chippendales calendar ended a few months back, but despite the huge loss, after I swapped it out with "Thunder from Down Under 2012" the world kept spinning. It's the end of an era, not the end of life.

Actually I Don't plan on being around in January 2013 becouse in early December I plan to join a cult and on the 21st along with all the other members drink the coolaid.

...Or, maybe ATS will change the forum name into 2021 as there was an interpretation error and "THE END" is set to Dec. 12th 2021 instead of Dec. 21st 2012

Half the ATSers will never know, because they will be bunkered down in their custom-made ATS fallout shelters, and they won't log back on for years!

I suspect this Forum will die off quickly, and a new Forum will take its place. Perhaps 2015? or 2030?

Personally, I am looking forward to the end of the world in the form of The Singularity. Maybe that will be our next big forum?

I wish we could get a Transhumanism forum, but it doesn't seem like enough people are interested in the topic. I predict that the 2012 forum will turn into the 2027 forum. That is when the Aztec's current Calendar Round ends and they are the ones who actually have most of the beliefs people have tried to associate with 2012. So there wouldn't need to be much done except for a name change as many of the threads would still be relevant. We would just need to mentally swap 2027 for 2012.

There are so many predictions of global catastrophes from Earth as beyond such as the galactic center and the sun, I think Earth will be badly hit by EMPs that will take out electronics. But they say the internet was built by the military to survive things like nuclear war so maybe the internet will survive in some mountain somewhere but this forum's server is definitely gonna go out.

There will be a mass of posts regarding 2020.
