I've been a 32nd degree Scottish Rite mason for a couple years now and wondered how many 33rds (Scottish Rite, SJ) are here on ATS besides the late Appak.

The only one I know for sure received the honors 2 years ago, and I haven't seen him here lately. "Lost in the Midwest" was his username...

Just do not get between him and his glass of sweet tea.

thanks very much. I am just a 32nd.
To my knowledge, Lost in the Midwest is our only other 33rd unless Masonic Light is. He doesn't display his titles other than past master. (which I suppose is the most important one)

I know quite a few, but I think they might come unglued is they saw the kind of stuff that is discussed on this site. Most of them have no idea they are supposed to be Satan worshipers.

I read somewhere a while ago that there is supposed to be a higher than normal
occurrence of homosexuality in masonic temples.
Is there any truth to this?

I did hear that a few lodges in the NY area had this problem. The real way to tell is if they try to say something that makes them seem manly like "can't talk now, I'm busy reading a playboy" or some such nonsense.

My thoughts exactly. I know several 33rd's, and most can barely email, and if asked them about a "blog" they would probably say their dermatologist had already looked at it, and it was benign. If they were to read 10% of the ridiculousness in this forum, I think their hearts might give out.

I am too busy right now reading Playboy.

I find it very interseting.

Really interseting.

Super interesting.

Not so interesting.

Now I am tired.

Whatever floats your boat, man. As long as your comfortable in your own skin we don't care that you're gay.

Naturaly the search for truth leads you to places like this.

Information regardless of it validity is important... lies teach more than the truth.

You could teach a man to tie a knot.. or tie him up and if he should ever set himself free he'll understand more than he ever wanted to.

No, but I bet we get 5 new users making that claim before the end of April.
We are free to practice whatever religion we chose. The only stipulation in freemasonry is that you believe in a higher power.

More like hair club for men.. but with religion.

Once you move past the litteralism disease of modern religion... there are few places to go without being labeled a heretic or a blasphemer when discussion the possible mythological symbols in religious theology while still believing in only the parts of the bible that give you comfort and make you happy.

Its like a bunch of bald people pretending they still have hair... Atheists with a god wig.

How come no one asks about the Knight Templar? Are we second rate Masons?
