Here is the latest ominous news item:

Explosion Heard in Baghdad; Cause Unclear

BAGHDAD, Iraq Sept. 23, 2004 � A loud explosion echoed in the Iraqi capital on Thursday night.
It was not immediately clear what caused the blast, which occurred just after 8:30 p.m. The U.S. military had no immediate comment.

Unfortunately this is all to common. Usually the story goes no farther then this.

Maybe it's yet another spontaneous celebration of joy and gratitude for American freedom, or a display of unity echoing the words of their elected Prime Minister who's in America saying "Thank You" for the liberation for Saddam's yoke?

There's explosions happening over there all the time, along with gunfire. Where have you been? There are extremist insurgents over there causing chaos and the United States have got troops over there stabilizing the situation. Thought you'd like to know.

You are all right...this happens so often it isn't really "news", is it.
Just thought it was interesting in light of the Iraqi Prime Minister's
"thank you" to the Bush administration today. He's deluded too, apparently.
