According to Fox News, politics.blogs.foxnews.com... Berry attempted to send a secret message to Valdimar Putin at the Seoul Korea Nuclear Security Summit
“Obama spotted Medvedev, looks over at him, puts his hands over the microphone in front of him with a big smile, and then goes to greet the Russian president. Obama could be heard saying, "On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it's important for him to give me space." Medvedev responds in English, "Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you..." Obama then brings up a frank statement about timing and what he can get done, "This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility." Medvedev replies, "I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir," a reference to the next Russian President-elect Valdimir Putin.”
What the hell, he knows he’s going to win the election? And then he’s going to compromise the USA’s safety by giving into Putins (another fake election) regime?
This is outrageous! This is fraud! And this is treason!

Uh...we all know he's going to win the election

Have you seen his competition? Mitt Romney's going to win the nomination and then get easily beaten on the national level. Won't be any surprises this time around - with his lower approval ratings the Republicans had a perfect opportunity for a decent candidate to get him out of office.

Then the short bus rolled up and 12 of the worst politicians in US history showed up. Michelle Bachman? Rick Perry?? And somehow Santorum had a fighting chance for a while? Total insanity

He's just going by probabilities and I'd say that there's a 85% probability that he wins the re-election

and how does Russia pose a threat to the U.S safety?
that missile defense system is just a slap in the face to Russia, I think Obama is doing a good thing by working things out with the Russians

This fits into the Stratfor emails that were talking about Obama being Russian friendly...

...Interesting.

i dont like it.
i dont like it one bit

if putin gets paid off, or obama makes a deal with him to follow the US agenda, who is going to stand up to the West when they really get out of control?

soon there wont be a nation on earth that can oppose them.

this scares the crap out of me

That makes no sense. Two countries are cooperating with each other. How is it that the next step is world domination?

Over for whom? Putin was right in the thick of the fight and slugging it out from the Officer Corps of the K.G.B.. This whole conflict in Iran has it's roots in 1979 and the various dynamics of the cold war....and even the 'War on Terror' has it's roots right there in the cold war invasion and occupation of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union.

I'd say the Cold War is simply playing out the final chapter in an overtime none of us expected would come back around and happen. Sure enough though, in some ways, it's like the last 20 years weren't so long at all.

Cold war? No. Maybe luke warm?

From a separate email in the Stratfor archive, Burton is reported as claiming this on November 7, 2008: “The hunt is on for the sleezy [sic] Russian money into O-mans [President Barack Obama] coffers. A smoking gun has already been found. Will get more on this when the time is right. My source was too giddy to continue.”

If Burton’s source is more reliable than his spelling, this may be a reference to at least two Russian oligarchs who are believed to have met with John McCain and Sarah Palin, the Republican Party presidential ticket in 2008, on board motor yachts in the August-September 2008 period. If they were preceded or followed by meetings with Obama campaign functionaries, then Burton’s reference to “sleezy Russian money” may be of genuine interest.

Why on earth would you think anyone can oppose the West now or later? No country, government or religion can oppose the west. Not today or tomorrow.

As soon as something becomes a threat the over political, self mutilating west will unify and protect what is theirs. You think the west is cocky and aggressive now? The west risked financial ruin to prove they could fight three wars at once.

In my opinion the only force that can oppose the west is the west. It will take something like Jerrico or Mother Nature to cause a big enough road block to deter the west. And even than one has to admit that the friends of the west are more likely to assist the west than take advantage.

Just my two cents

Well okay

if we're still in the midst of a cold war, then why the big fuss over the cooperation of the U.S and Russia to come to an agreement on the missile defense shield?

isn't this a good thing?

Emphasis mine

This sounds like code of some sort. Doesn't strike me as normal speech. Thoughts?

Much Love!

In my opinion, both superpowers are positioning themselves to take out another superpower and it wont be the use of military force but a shear tactical move. One must note that both B.O. and V.P are hardcore chess players, well thats what i have heard, who knows, perhaps they play online chess between them on a quiet Sunday afternoon.

Anyone who knows my posts will tell you I am quite anti Obama (and in truth all politicians in general) However having said that, I don't see anything wrong here. Politics is 5% media manipulation and 95% hidden agenda's (whether those agenda's are in the interest of the people or not.)

Making peace with Russia and dropping the tensions between the two countries can only be a good thing, why is it bad for Obama to be doing this? Was Reagan bad for lowering tensions with Mikhail Gorbachev? Countries reducing tensions between themselves can only be a good thing.

Any incumbent president would act as though he was going to be re-elected, to be president you have to have a winning mentality and an inflated ego, it is no proof that the election is rigged by its self (although I do believe it is rigged) but either way, I would rather a rigged election brought peace between the east and west rather than an elected or rigged brought tension and a return of the cold war. There really is enough tension hatred and war in this world, we don't need any more

Any one who would call this treason has no idea what treason is and is just a Fox news tool. This is politics and pragmatic negotiations. When you are dealing with a group of people like the Teapublicans who have a hard time seeing beyond the next 15 minutes -- this is how you have to do it.

I agree! Obama was asking for more time to consider the options -- and that's a reasonable thing to do, particularly considering North Korea and the problems in the Middle East. Nuclear treaties are NOT something I want him to go rushing into and I DO want him to make sure everyone gets a fair deal.
