I'll have to start researching this more, it's been affecting me for some time now. I use to enjoy splunking, but it's getting hard to find good caves that are still open to the public. I live in Missouri and every year a group of us goes down to the 11 point river (SW MO, Mark Twain National Forest). It has one of my favorite caves and it's only like a mile hike from the river. It's massive and we have always had the entire cave to ourselves. In fact we never have finished exploring it. A few years back, probably around 3, we hiked up to the cave to discover that the entrance had been barred up. There was no possible way to enter, and a sign was posted about the bats. It still hasn't been reopened. I've been praying to be able and go back in but that hope is dissipating.

So the conspiracy here is something similar to the genetically modified bees.
They are killing the bats so they can...
www.abovetopsecret.com...

They must really want to get those new mosquitoes out there.
Must be big money at stake.

They also could use this bat holocaust to Increase the mosquito population and use them as a delivery system for a new virus to wipe us out next.

Not to wave off topic, however this is a conspiracy site, When the guy was talking about bats being natural pesticides, it got me thinking, Could Monsanto be behind infecting these bats with the fungus? engineered a fungus to kill bats in order for farmers to succumb to taking in the bio engineered seeds?

Again, apologies for drifting a bit off the main concern with the bats, havn't read the other posts yet in case someone had the same thoughts, it's just something that struck a chord with me is all.

I don't know if you watched the (very suspect) video, but it said "a group of RECREATIONAL cavers is QUESTIONING a new estimate..."

Then it goes on to say "the estimate made by state and federal scientists has said 5.5 million to 6.7 million have been killed".

I don't honestly care that much what happens to the title at this point, I was merely giving my two cents.

So no... I am not kidding.

Guys and girls, I'm sure Domo was just being sarcastic.
I would have thought the talk of bee's being useless was a clue. Regardless I'm sure he's just echoing the sentiments of your average braindead Joe in the street.

Here in Britain our bats are rather well protected overall and it is an offence to disturb them. Besides it doesn't hurt to give over space in the loft to accommodate some. www.bats.org.uk...

Despite this horrific fungus, in the meantime we can all do what we can to help our beautiful little bug munching helpers.

although i wouldn't put it past them, most crop pests are not on the wing in the evening so it would have little to no impact on crops. they could very well be part of the problem with genetic manipulation as a side effect though.

Nature can't take its course when the course keeps being changed by humans.
