Dick Cheney has heart transplant

Two people died so Cheney could live a few more months at best.

The donor, and the person who should have received the heart.

The choice of giving a twenty year old a heart who could live fifty more years, or Cheney a heart, so he can live five more months, is just one more example of the value system of our oligarchy.
The hypocrites are those who know Cheney was evil, and are now wishing him well. Although that is a Christian behavior to forgive. I guess I am not a good Christian. I pity the person who should have received the heart, not the evil Cheney. Bush resisted all the pressure from Cheney to attack Iran. I like Bush a lot more than I like Cheney.

I hope his body rejects the organ and he dies a slow death for jumping the queue and we just need to find a brain transplant for GW-Bush now, he has waited his turn on that one.

Vampire Dick Cheney performing a brain transplant for Frankenstein George Bush. Unlike the movie, Young Frankenstein, where the hunchback selects the AB Normal brain, Bush already has an abnormal brain.

According to the news, Cheney is 71 years old, and had been on a waiting list for a heart transplant for more than 20 months. It does not appear that he jumped the line or anything else improper about getting this heart. He will be extremely weak and in a lot of pain for several months, since a heart transplant requires sawing the sternum and a lot of recuperation and gradual physical therapy (and a lot of anti-rejection drugs). We'll probably see him with whiskers for a while because shaving is a no-no while he's on very strong blood thinners.

I don't know what the doctors did with his original heart, but since it was never used I assume it's prime transplant material.

Very few people over 70 are given heart transplants. The oldest, a 75 year old man, had to accept a "secondary" heart, one that normally would not be used, usually from an older person, or one that has damage. Did Cheney receive a heart from the secondary list? If so, I have no problem with the operation. If he received a heart from the primary list, there is a real problem here. I suspect, he received a grade A primary heart. One that should have saved the life of a younger person.

Wouldn't it suck if you wanted to do something good with your organs and they went to keeping Dick Cheney alive for 5 more years and your heart was buried in that old bastards chest for eternity. Donors should have an exemption list. My organs can go to anyone, but the following politician/celebrity assholes.

I don't think you can pin the person who originally died on Cheney's heart lust, but their hasn't been an official investigation so who knows

he wont last long now, a few years

Unfortunately, it doesn't just stop at transplants. People who have money and power, are always escorted to the front of the line for everything.

Joe Biden is generally harmless, often sticking his foot in his mouth. There is no comparison between the two men.
