It is indeed contradictory. These guys are arguing that Zimmerman had a right to defend himself because they claim Martin attacked him. But, following their own logic, since Zimmerman followed Martin, that would mean martin had the RIGHT to attack Zimmerman. Right?

But their argument goes like this: Zimmerman had a right to kill Martin because Martin attacked him. And Zimmerman had a right to follow martin because he was protecting himself. But martin apparently didnt have the right to defend himself against Zimmerman following and attacking him because.....?

Apparently black people don't have rights. Let's just come out and say it - because I cannot think of any other reason Trayvon Martin would be denied the same rights as George Zimmerman in the minds of these people.

Can you guys offer some alternate explanation that takes race out of the equation? I'd love to bury this theory but when you've ruled out all other possibilites... This is the only one that remains.

Yes, that is the elephant in the room. But mentioning it is a trap because it doesnt really relate to the facts in the case, which are that Zimmerman killed the kid, and that police helped cover up his murder.

Its not even race as much as it is class. People with a certain level of power (but not much, likeZimmerman) in our society see their importance slipping away, so they lash out at those they see as slightly less powerful. It will only get worse as American prosperity declines and the wealthy hrde all their riches. The middle class will lash out at the poor, the poor will lash out at the middle class, and the wealthy will sit back and laugh.

seems Martin then persisted as the aggressor.

There is the possibility that Zimmerman started the confrontation but Martin got the best of him. Just because he ended up on the ground doesn't mean he was attacked, just as it doesn't mean he did the attacking.

Whoa buddy, you're the one agreeing with George Zimmerman avatar dude that Zimmerman is innocent. Zimmerman hasn't looked that busted up in any of the images we've seen of him since. And again, all of the witnesses who've shown their faces say that Martin was attacked and shot. Voice analysis confirms that the voice screaming for help is not Zimmerman.

The only people who say otherwise will not show their faces or are 13 and protected by the law.

What planet are you on dont you watch any news at all? First the police report does indeed mention his injuries and i quote:

"I could observe his back it appeared to be wet and covered with grass, as if he had been laying on the ground.Zimmerman was also bleeding from his nose and the back of his head."

Then of course ABC apologized and admitted that the video they released did indeed show injuries on the tape. So your contradicting the people that released the tape in the first place. Or do you only believe what you want to as long as it fits your beliefs?

No, this is what the 911 tape and Zimmerman's own words and shortness of breath TELL US. Not fantasy, not make believe. I'm asking you to put yourself in Treyvon Martin's shoes, however uncomfortable that may be for you, and ask who was acting in a reasonable manner, just this little window of time, say from 20 minutes before Martin was killed. Nothing about either man's past, nothing about their color, nothing about the various people around the country voicing their opinions to suit their political agendas.. Just this 20 minutes, put yourself in his shoes. Would you attack a man following you through the neighborhood, who OBVIOUSLY chased you behind a house? How the hell else did they end up behind the house??

We know that Trayvon Martin KNEW he was being followed because first off Zimmerman states "he's looking at me" during the 911 call so don't try to accuse him of going to rob the place or something. He was trying to run away from the scary $%&^ing dude who was following him. He was 17 - I don't care how thuggish you are you get SCARED when you're 17.

Voice analysis shows that it was NOT Zimmerman screaming for help. This implies that Martin was probably looking down the barrel of that 9mm well before he was shot. So even if there was a scuffle, they had to at some point have separated and Zimmerman had time to pull his weapon out. The other logical assumption is that Zimmerman already had his weapon drawn. You tell me.

At this point Zimmerman has a choice, he's looking the kid in the eyes. The kid is screaming for help, Zimmerman chooses to pull the trigger.

The man who does this is NOT a hero, he's far from it. And the men who idolize him while this is still a strong possibility, perhaps even a probability, make me sick and ashamed.

I am done with this thread. I hope the truth comes out.
