Yes it is.And then she got an ear full from Al Sharpton and the DA told her she needed to change her statement. Truth hard to chew and swallow , is it?

She never said the shooting was an accident.
It might help if you post exactly what she said and explain why you think it says something else?
Or you can just keep being wrong.
I am not sure I understand that tactic.

Maybe perhaps you are a family member of TM? Or even perhaps a lover of his?

Let us all let the process take its course and when it's all said and done we can commence the discussion.
Not much to add regarding the case anymore.

Lots of people find it very helpful when they cannot be or talk with the one they love to instead talk loudly and often to any and everyone else about the one they love. I guess you cannot blame the heart for what it wants.

It is at least my desire to see you mature, from that which is driven by anger and boast to a post which celebrates intellect and topic.
Does it matter that Mrs. Martin knows your name? I thinly not. Do all of the talk radio shows abroad know what Mrs.Martin said? I think so.

ATS is not a race which one can win but a place where most can deny ignorance. Is this small task above you?
Just askin!

Whenever you get around to posting something on topic, relevant, and that is worth reading, could you add something to this last post to point out just exactly who you are supposed to be talking to?

Treyvon did not even live there, he lived in MIAMI went to school there,
if he had of never been suspended from school he would of never
of been in the position he was in and where he was at.
decisions people make a difference.

What a sad and pathetic attempt to save face. So he got suspended from school for being late. To you that's enough to get shot for...if you're a black male?! That makes you a racist, and that makes your message carry a racist undertone. The kids FATHER lived there. But I suppose to you...black people are not allowed to see their kids either huh?!

You are sick in the head dude.

And if you have any children or children in the family, I'd be careful because; "Matthew 7:2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

So true. If I could meet with Zimmerman face to face and ask him one question, it would be, "Why didn't you just simply open your mouth and ask Trayvon who he was and what he was doing there?" That's all I want to know. He could have also stayed in his truck and waited for the police.

This case certainly proves that the stupid decisions people make can mean the difference between life and death.

I'm sure Trayvon wasn't psychic and didn't know that if he spent his time off with his father, he'd be shot dead by some stranger with a gun who would be stalking him that night on his way back from the store.

But since you want to get silly with your "what ifs", then what if Zimmerman hadn't been born? Then he wouldn't have been there making stupid decisions that caused the death of another human being.

The kid wasn't suspended from school for 10 days for being late. C'mon man.

His fathers fiance lived there.

The poster you replied to in no way was racist, it is you that is because you jumped to conclusions and automatically assumed that the poster was racist.

It is you that has their head in the sand and It's Ironic that you quote Mathew and it is you that has judged

What lies and horrible things said about him? The whole race issue, yeah, that was some agenda being pushed to benefit certain people. I personally don't believe it was a racially motivated incident.

I know there have been lies, blatantly fake imagery and unfounded horrible things said about Martin. I haven't read anything about Zimmerman that wasn't true.

The fake altered 911 tapes, the *leaked* abc video,
the 7 year old pictures of treyvon that was being used.
The lies that it was treyvon screaming on the tape for help
when it was zimmerman... The lies sharpton is saying
that black kids are not safe because of white people
using zimmerman as some type of racial murderer,
the list can go on all day, and when zimmerman is set
out a free man then and only then will justice be done..
This is just a mob lynching, modern day lynching sad day
in america

its also strange how the lead investigator recommended a manslughter charge but this prosecutor has went for 2nd degree murder. Seems to be for political reasons.

Also with things like " disobeyed a dispatchers order" and " trayvons mum says the screams were trayvon" as part of their case it doesnt seem very strong. More like parroting al sharptons talking points.

edit on 13-4-2012 by yeti101 because: (no reason given)

You should have continued reading the report. It clearly says that what they have listed is for probable cause reason only and does not include all of the evidence they have.

We will see just how strong the case is. I disagree with you though, I think they have a very very strong case. Especially when all the forensics, etc comes out.

Well considering Sanford PD screwed the evidence at the scene, but good, I wouldn'texpect forensics to convict Zimmerman. He kept the gun too, so evidence is tainted. Zimmerman will walk. He never confessed; he pled not guilty . His attorney can spin up all kinds of stories and get away with it. Reasonable doubt can be achieved based on the tainted evidence alone. He will walk.

And America will burn.

It's pretty clear that there is a lot of evidence we haven't seen yet. Nobody has said positively if Martin was shot in the front or the back. Was there an exit wound? Then there is the angle of Zimmerman's violent history. Apparently he assaulted a police officer yet he was never convicted of that crime. He had body slammed a woman at work according to co-workers who said he had a violent temper. Then there are the domestic violence charges. Then on the night of the murder, he was told he shouldn't follow the suspect by police dispatch. Now as we dig deeper. We find out that nobody in the neighborhood actually asked Zimmerman to be a Neighborhood Watch Captain. He apparently got a gun permit and too it on himself to patrol the streets as some sort of vigilante. Neighborhood Watch's rules are that members do not carry guns and they are supposed to call the police when they see a crime. I also notice that Zimmerman had 46 false alarm calls to police over the course of eight weeks. This tells me he overreacted much of the time, I hope this is entered into evidence and the audio of those calls comes to light. Then we have Zimmerman making possible racist comments on the 911 tape and complaining that "they always get away". This shows me that Zimmerman may have been of the mindset that this one wasn't going to get away and confronted him. A real key is that Zimmerman says he was running, so Zimmerman had to chase after him and cause the confrontation in the first place in my book. I think Zimmerman gets convicted. There is just too much evidence that says he caused this and he killed a guy who was where he was supposed to be, just walking home from the store.

Better than seeing in print, she will say it right before your eyes on video.

I'm not sure why you are not understanding this.

Nope. "They always get away" refers to the thieves/ thief who has been successfully been getting away with the break ins in that area. Zimmerman had grown tired of it, as he has been reported to help some of the victims by replacing a door lock when the police simply showed up, asked questions and left.

If you assert that he referred to 'blacks', then what were they "getting away" with??

I have a to take issue with this statement. His suspension from school really has no bearing on what occurred that evening, other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But he could just as easily have been out of school due to any number of reason's such as illness, arrangements between the school and parents to allow him to be out of school due to family issues. I've seen many parents in my area remove their children from school for a week or two mid year because that is the only available time the family is able to take a vacation together due to employment policies. So him being suspended from school is a non-issue in this.

Additionally you seem to be saying that because he did not LIVE there, it was his fault that this occurred. But that is really illogical, surely you aren't implying that the residents of this complex do not have a right to have family or friends over unless they are willing to risk their visitors lives in doing so?

First the whole body slamming thing was from a blog it was wrong it never happened. Heres what realy happened.

In 2005, Zimmerman, then 20, was arrested and charged with “resisting officer with violence” and “battery of law enforcement officer,” both which are third-degree felonies. The charge was reduced to “resisting officer without violence” and then waived when he entered an alcohol education program. Contemporaneous accounts indicate he shoved an officer who was questioning a friend for alleged underage drinking at an Orange County bar.

He was an underage drinking in a bar and didnt realize his buddy got caught by an ATF agent i believe him when he said he didnt know it was a cop. Easy way to prove it he was only 20 in a bar drinking. If he knew it was an officer he would have headed for the door.

August 2005, Zimmerman’s ex-fiancee, Veronica Zuazo, filed a civil motion for a restraining order alleging domestic violence. Zimmerman counterfiled for a restraining order against Zuazo. The competing claims were resolved with both restraining orders being granted.

This happens all the time in nasty break ups .Do to know charges ever being filed the restraining order meant nothing.

In December 2006, Zimmerman was charged with speeding. The case was dismissed when the officer failed to show up in court.

This obviously makes him a bad guy as well damn speeder. Look in this case making zimmerman to be a bad guy the evidence really doesnt bear that out.In fact just the opposite. George Zimmerman Tutored black children for FREE on weekends over the last several years. He started a campaign against the police force for “beating of the black homeless man Sherman Ware on Dec. 4, 2010, by the son of a Sanford police officer,” He put out flyers in the community and contacted several black churches in the area you can see them here if you like.

Zimmerman-Letter-to-Sanford-Churches

Then there was neighbor testimonies about how he helped them after break ins in the area. This guy really cared about his community and the people around him. The Treyvon shooting occurred not because hes a racist but because he thought he was protecting people. So trying to make him out to be an evil monster just doesnt fit his character and this is also the reason youll never get 2nd degree murder charges on him.I will say however that both Treyvon and George made some very bad decisions which led to the tragic events.

I think the perception of Zimmerman's actions being racially motivated were triggered by a couple of things, his assumptions that Martin was on drugs or something and that something was really up with this guy....when the actions he initially described on the 911 call are not much different than most of us see every day when we come across someone walking down the street absorbed in their cell phone conversation. I have seen grown adults doing the same wandering down the sidewalk in their business attire so absolutely absorbed in their cell conversations that they literally bounce off others passing by with no response.

That combined with the release of a number of previous calls that Zimmerman had made to police regarding people he considered suspicious being in the neighborhood, in the majority of the calls that were released the parties he was reporting as suspicious were described by him as being black, some walking through the neighborhood, some driving through the neighborhood in a car he did not recognize and so forth. Only one call recording that I was able to find did not include this element, in that call to the police he was calling because children around the ages of I thing I was 5 or 6 of multiple nationalities were playing in the street area of the complex every couple of days.

I think releasing his previous calls to the police, considering the content of them was poorly timed to say the least
