Okay. I'll keep that on the table, and have a look at Stellarium for location Alaska, at that time/date.

To enable your own understanding, there's a program called Stellarium which is basically a desktop planetarium that allows you to see what's going on in the sky, and what's what, where.

you can adjust for times and locations around the globe to see the same for specific locations and times.

It's a free program and can get got here: Stellarium

For now, I must go curl myself up under a bunch of blankets with as many pillows for some much needed slee, but after that, I'll look into this further and check back.
Feel free to check out Stellarium yourself just in case you may see a similar layout to what's on the frame.

Someone else might also beat me to it.

If not, I'll be back around later on after some much needed hiding out underneath a mountain of blankets and pillows with sleep included.

I tried to say protected by MoEskiMo and I did not get pic to work. So I reposted and it worked, then, maybe I should have stopped while I was ahead. Thanks for your info.
I sent the pic to another member to better examine, since imageshack was not showing the pic in a good format.
They got and they are looking at it. I guess I should have stuck with my intuition of not posting. I really just wanted info, as my opening thread states. But, I gave in and posted, with great regrets. I should have kept the pic for me only.

Here's all you had to do. Take the photo to paint and add the copyright symbol and your name, save it as a new image, then upload to imageshack or other hosting site.

That's it. You would still have the unadulterated photo on your hardrive. No one else would have that, but you.

To the topic of the thread reply . If your not connected to certain organizations , I would say keep the pics or vids on the shelf till you do your own leg work from sending them directly to those that you can trust .

Giving the benefit of the doubt here can be a costly choice .

Why not share it? All of the worst will always be assumed. If it is your work or your photo then let us judge...
Either way the Trolls will troll and the rest will deny ignorance, or FAIL! Open mind required to be objective

Why should s/he?

Not really. Evidence is evidence and it should stand on its own. What's to risk? Either it's a legit picture or a hoax or a misidentification or too vague to count for anything. If you're open minded enough you should be open to all these possibilities. What do you stand to lose by posting it?

Alright, so I posted this on page one. Having now seen your "great UFO photo" I must say that it is inconclusive at best.

You have a picture of a couple of white dots. What, exactly, is anyone to take from this picture?

Off the top of your own head, how many phenomena would be consistent with this picture of two dots? Birds? High-altitude planes? Stars? Planets? Foreground bugs? Childrens' balloons taken by the wind? Extraterrestrial craft? Bad pixels in your camera's CCD?

So, you have a cool picture of a couple of dots. Congrats.

If you have a picture, or video,
of sufficient pristine HD quality that you know is the real deal,
and I mean close up razor sharp,
firstly you have to be aware that such a thing is of great financial value,
given the level of UFO interest on the web.
If someone does not already have such a thing,
it is inevitable with current technology that one day someone will,
and hopefully they are not military.
If you find yourself in this position,
I would suggest getting good advice before you do anything.
You could do a power of good
somewhere in the world,
with the funds
that such a thing would produce.

Let me clarify many things here: First post, I never said it was me who had the photo, nor that I was wanting to show you a photo. First post! OK? I wanted great info, I was not getting that, instead I got people insisting, and begging to see my photo. Beacause I am a naturally trusting and nice preson, I felt I should show my picture. Because you do not see what I see, I do not care anymore.
I have other pictures of other bizarre phenomena, and guess who will never see it? ATS.
That is right, you all proved to me how you are just waiting to chop an indivividual up.
To all those that offered sound advice, thank you, to all those that told me thank you for sharing, I thank you.
To all of you who try so desparately to get me to show you my photo so you can redicule me, you reminded me why I should not trust people, and why I will not again.
I sincerely came to ATS for helpful info, about a possible picture, and I what I got instead was a form of sabatoge. Posters where even stating that I did not have a picture, nobody was offering advice. Just trying to get me to show my pic, only to me eat me alive. Thin-skinned, maybe, I was not fully prepared, read my first post, and then my second. This is why people to share bizarre knowledge to others. You can fire your attacks and comments to back up your reasoning all day and into tomorrow-fact is and still and always will remain: This is why people do not share everything I know, or have seen. Plain and simple. You all do not want the truth. You want everyone to be a hoaxer so you can eat them alive, and tryo to make them look foolish. SO congrats, you win, I have been fooled and I am a fool.
And also, btw, I have stated two times, this is in 2009. Now, there is three times.
To all you sent private kind messages, and those you have only kind words to post, again, I thank you for saving me from thinking that everyone is rude, hateful, controlling, and out to get the better of another.

I have read on here and a few other sites, responses to photo's. On one hand, dimwits come up with lame statements, like pictures or it did not happen, and the same folks immediately claim, fake when the picture is posted. This kind of response stops people from even posting a picture or a report on this site. Makes me wonder what their agenda really is, or are they just arm chair people with little experience. I have built real airplanes and flown them and have experience but that would not matter.

An example. A little over a week ago, I watched for 10 minutes a flashing bright white light dart up and down, sideways and slowly make it's way towards the gulf from port Charlotte fl. It was far enough away, a picture with my droid would have been useless, but then why even tell folks here about it, the lame comments would have been pretty much what I could have expected. Even though, you can state your credential, and analysis which I made several and it could not be explained away as a balloon, airplane, an RV or copter. So I shared it with another site and since found others here in Fl. that have seen similar with no attacks on my intelligence.

MoEskiMo,
I sympathize for how you feel, but, as a fact of life and reality, the internet is a shark tank full of sharks, piranhas, electric eels, and even octopuses with lasers. Further there's the common troll.

Any foray onto the internet should be taken with expectation of eventually running into one sort or another.
There's also a social malady in effect due to the highly social and influential nature of media, and the openness to being programmed and manipulated by such programming of weak willed,, weak minded people who will indeed start and stop at the lowest common denominator they can grab onto.

In other words, shows like Southpark, Bam Margara's Jack@$$, Borat, and all the other sundry programs in media that essentially teach people that it's okay, quite accesptable, and even 'cool' to behave badly, have programmed a vast portion of media connected internet using people, and this rudeness, because such, seems more the rule than the exception.

I recommend ignoring such. These people are weak, don't have anything constructive to say or contribute, and, they're media drones programmed like mindless little puppets to think and say and act how they've been programmed to think and say and act to outside stimuli by the media and social programming they're so sensitive to influence by.

It's called mind control, and it's a pervasive self sustaining replicating social malady that no one really seems to see happening. These rude little mites are just carrying out their programming because they've been programmed by such standards as convenience to give them a sense of entitlement.

Please don't be offended. these people are handicapped by relatively low to average IQ levels, as well as their susceptibility to influence by social and media programming to act badly.

Attempting to chastise such people is like scolding a swine for rolling in it's own filth. These people are handicapped by their susceptibility to influence down to the lowest common denominator. They parrot what they pick up from their peers, social networks, movies and television shows or cartoons they watch.
It's social programming at work.

Remember the big trend where everyone just HAD to be politically correct? A garbage collector became something like waste management specialist?
Well, the opposite is in play with the social strata now. Those expressing such rudeness are weak, tiny minded little fools that have no clue how they're being played like an instrument, and how thoroughly their wet-ware has been hacked.

As for you, don't take it so personally. Who is MoEskiMo? It's just a name on a screen with some words and maybe a picture associated with it. You could be anyone. it doesn't matter. Don't take anything personally. If anything you should feel sorry for these poor weak minded people that can't even control their own thoughts and actions since they're just media and social network programmed drones.

You really have no cause to be upset. I sympathize that you feel the need to feel so, but, it's like adding tears to the rain. Internet = nasty people. Ignore them. They're handicapped.

As for further analysis on the photo, I don't have anything additional to add as of yet.
Additional input by other members in the direction of proper and interested inquiry would be nice.
As it stands, I don't know what these 'dots' are. We may also never know.
To say anything with even the slightest bit of conclusiveness, we require corroboration through inquiry.
No one with any credibility can say that this photo is, or is not aliens, or anything else for that matter without other evidence to support whatever claim they may support.

Sit back, relax, enjoy what's enjoyable, and forget the buzzing of mindless programmed little puppets.

Like I said, I have been sitting on this photo since 2009.

I am glad you posted it. I have two photos I too have sat on (since 2002 I think!!) and ironically, will be posting shortly under my own thread. (This post makes it my 20th).

I have searched many sites over the years, looking for one that will get me an honest opinion (eight times out of ten) about what an object is or isn't and I have found this one to be the best.

It is a shame that some feel compelled to ridicule peoples images but there are still a lot of members who genuinely go out of there way to assist those that seek answers and for that, I applaud them. (You know who you are)

Id just like to point out, no one has ridiculed the OP, hence the mods havent removed ANY posts.

Just because someone doesnt like the answers they are given does not mean they are being trolled, abused, shamed, or ridiculed. Sometimes the truth is boring....so what?

OP presented a photo of 2 white dots...as you can all see.

I gave my honest opinion, which was.....its guess work, no one can say for certain given the evidence presented.

ATS is the perfect place to present your photos and videos of so called UFO's. You wont be wrapped in cotton wool and be told what you want to hear. Thats not how it works. If you want to be told "yup, thats 100% aliens" you are in the wrong place...maybe GLP would be more fitting? Or maybe thats where the majority of these people originally come from, and expect the same ignorance here?

Time for some quotes

I sincerely came to ATS for helpful info, about a possible picture, and I what I got instead was a form of sabatoge

Dont be ridiculous. What you got what truth based on the pics. They show nothing that can be identified for certain. Which means they are aliens in your book right, hence the need to copyright the image? You already made up your mind the dots were not of this world before posting anything.

You all do not want the truth. You want everyone to be a hoaxer so you can eat them alive, and tryo to make them look foolish. SO congrats, you win, I have been fooled and I am a fool.

This is a seriously funny post from the OP. We dont want the truth? Ooook, thats why we waste our time trying to identify crappy pics like this....because we want to call you names....grow up!
There is no need to attempt to make people look foolish, especially when they post such nonsense. You did that yourself love

I sincerely came to ATS for helpful info, about a possible picture, and I what I got instead was a form of sabatoge.

*cough* bs *cough*

You came here in the hope someone would say you have alien spaceships clearly captured in your photos. Which you did get at one point...but...that was based on their faith too. Its orbs, they travel in pairs....so prove it?
You know what orbs really are right?? Venus, Saturn, planes flying towards people...out of focus lights in other words.

You got helpful advice, not advice based on beliefs, not advice based on baseless facts. The truth isnt always what you want it to be.

Because you do not see what I see, I do not care anymore. I have other pictures of other bizarre phenomena, and guess who will never see it? ATS.

What an excellent attitude to have. Do you not wonder why people find the UFO community a mockery? You are happy pushing your ignorance, but as soon as its questioned you throw a wobbly.
Lots of people have photos of bizarre phenomena, bizarre to you may be explainable by others.

Honestly, your other pics wont be missed. It not like you have gained any credibility from you picture or posts in this thread. Keep them, i can photograph birds and planes all day myself

zzzz i kinda like your posts, but your arrogance really grates me sometimes.

Please don't be offended. these people are handicapped by relatively low to average IQ levels, as well as their susceptibility to influence by social and media programming to act badly.

And you know that how? Based on someones writing style? Very condescending and full of assumptions. I may not always put the time and effort into writing a post that is comforting as well as truthful, but i have been here for some years, and after a while....it wears kinda thin. To claim its due to lack of intelligence, and claim peoples IQ's are lower than yours is utter tosh.

You say what people want to hear. You have a very clever writing skill. That i may lack, but i take offense to someone calling me an idiot because i dont write in the same way.

Anyways, this whole post is off topic and il understand if it it removed. Just feel the need to defend my position given the snide little remarks within your post.
