What the Smell? Something Stinky Reported in Fond du Lac

www.wsaw.com

There’s strange noise being reported in Clintonville and 70 miles south in Fond du Lac it’s a smell that’s causing some concern.

According to WLUK-TV, the Fond du Lac Fire Chief says workers at a pumping station on Brooke Street noticed the smell Tuesday afternoon. Now firefighters placed containment booms in the sewer system after finding a strange substance.

The fire chief explains they believe the substance is a type of cutting oil from a nearby scrap iron facility. He says samples have bee

The ONLY reason why this caught my attention is.....several weeks ago Hawaii underwent a swarms of earthquakes and mysterious booms.... for an entire day then several days later, some mysterious plume of cloudy substance in their storm drain.
Above are the ATS links to Hawaii

Could there be a possible link?
I think something is happening on a very deep level in our crust and perhaps it's getting so agitated or possibly, hot?...that it has nowhere else to go but up?

What is causing this?
Could some unseen celestial disturbance be the culprit? I don't see why not.

I just stopped believing in coincidences years ago! There has GOT to be a correlation to the booms, rumbles and now, the water?

Does anyone feel there might be a correlation to Wisconsin and Hawaii?

Earthquake (check)
Rumblings (check)
Booms (check)
Strange liquid (check)
Odd Odor (one check)

Or am I on my own here (which is fine)?

I'm going with the "something going on under the crust" theory.

People have been hearing a lot of very loud strange noises all over. I don't believe in coincidence.

Volcano?
But I don't think there are volcanoes anywhere near Wisconsin.
So something under the crust for sure, but yet to confirm

Wait Human_Alien, are you trying to suggest link to your previous thread??
Well everything is possible, and maybe you are on to something with this

Here I thought Wisconsin should be a relatively safe place considering it can't suffer from a hurricane or tsunami, is a fair distance from New Madrid, and usually has little to no seismic activity. Our only real threats are flooding and tornadoes, but from the look of things lately I sure hope we don't add one to the short list.

Montello is now experiencing the same phenomenon.

(central Wisconsin)

Booms and shaking, that is.

Check this out: Volcano in Wisconsin?
Who'd have thought? This is in Marathon county, not far from Clintonville at all 30 to 50 miles away tops...

I'm totally withcha my friend

One boom, two earthquakes....yeah. Maybe it's a coincidence.
But there have been literally scores of booms/noises all throughout the world.

Earthquakes may be common but these booms aren't anything anyone is familiar with. And now....this liquid? And to boot, an odor? WTF?

I don't know what I am attaching what to...but I believe there's a common thread/culprit/denominator here and I don't know what it is.

A celestial body would take the onus off Earth and put these events into one package (as far as a culprit).....but why now? Why all of a sudden?

Some people argue it's due to the advent of the Internet and news just gets passed on quicker. For all these anomalous events happen all the time but we're just hearing about them sooner and quicker.

I don't totally buy that but that is one explanation.

Not hearing of many others though.

I'm from Central Illinois and we have experienced the booms, the shaking, and the noises from the sky as well. This happened probably two to three weeks ago.

The first time I heard "the Hum" I could instantly tell it wasn't normal, I went outside and sat outside for a good thirty minutes just listening to it. In all honesty I found it very serene and relaxing, until I heard the loudest boom in my life, followed by my house shaking intensely.

Afterwards, I got on facebook and saw that some of my friends had posted about hearing loud explosions followed by their houses shaking. They were actually scared, nobody around here has EVER experienced anything like that before. It was very, very strange.

I'll also add, it's insanely hot here. We skipped Spring, and went straight to upper-eighty degree weather. It is obvious that something is happening.
