South Carolina Teacher Suspended For Reading 'Ender's Game' To Middle School Students

My very religious grandparents had me pulled out of class in the 7th when the were reading Beowulf. funny thing was at the same time I was reading Stephen King's It at home which they bought for me. They were so ignorant about books, since they never read but they were always looking for a reason to find something wrong with public "secular" education.

I've read this book (a fantastic book btw) and there is absolutely zero pornography in it. I think there was some profanity, but there's nothing else that anyone with any common sense could possibly object to.
