French Forces in live shootout with a terrorist **Update Terrorist has Been Arrested"

The psychotic terrorist that killed french soliders and inncoent children has been cornered by the french police. He was trained in afghanistan or pakistan. Mohammed Merah a 24 year escaped a jail in afghanistan in a mass prison break. He has claimed he carried out the murders to "avenge Palestinian children".The French national, of Algerian origin, is heavily armed - possessing an Uzi machine gun and a Kalashnikov assault rifle - and refusing to surrender saids french press. He also video taped the murders of the young jewish children and the teach he killed and is planning to post the video online at any time.

It may or may not be connected to the bomb that exploded out the Indonesian Embassy in pais. With these two events the french goverment have thrown around the idea of closing its borders. No one was hurt during the explosion but it was still very concerning given the other killing.

Yes he did kill three jewish children and their teacher. I totally agree that it is very very sick. I just don't understand how a grown man can killed children that are 7 years old. It is said that he grabbed on child by her head while putting the barrel to her head firing a single shot killing her in a very sick terrible way no matter how you look at it.

Sorry but this rings of pure BS to, in fact my BS alarm is almost burnt out it is ringing that hard. This supposed Al Quiada terrorist is an Islamic warrior fighting for the Palestinian children? So why was he running around last week shooting black soldiers? If he was just killing Jews, then yes perhaps this story would make sense, but there were two separate incidents last week where 3 soldiers were killed, 1 in one incident then followed by 2 in the next one, all 3 were of African or afro Caribbean descent, now don't get me wrong here, but a lot of teh African immigrants into France are in fact Muslim, would a Muslim warrior be going out killing other potential Muslims in retaliation of what is happening in Palestine

I did find many conflicting reports regarding who the killer was. I've seen two different names and one claiming he was of european descent being part of the growing neo-nazi movement. Those were older reports though so I went in the direction I went because they were fresher reports.

Ok french reporter Steve Collins said the murderer has been arrested.

Cnn still reporting he is not arrested yet, but he did throw a gun out the window, i wonder if it is the same gun as used in the shooting. What next? He'll take his own fingerprints and mugshot for the police?

I think the french soliders he murdered were of nothern african descent. I also saw he was in ongoing negotiations with the police. I can't confirm he was arrested but the reporter who has been covering the story said he was so i posted it. Either way the man should be sentenced to death. I believe anyone who kills children should be killed themselves. Its truely a terrible world we find ourselves living in now a days.

Not that i know of. There was a bomb that went off in front of the indonesian embassy there werent any injuries though. There were talk of him belonging to a terrorist group calling themselves the AZT.The AZT is a terrorist group mostly located in nothern Afirca. My sympathies go out to the familiws of those murdered and the French oeople.These kinds of killings sicken me.

It is truthfully a terrible thing. It's a foreign thing for me and for my brain to understand how a human being can rationalize that killing a child is rightful retribution for anything. It is purely evil , a hideous act not far from a animal, truely barbarian.

It seems to me as if the two brothers had a plot to do this together since they found a bomb in the shooter brothers car. It would make sense if he were the one responsible for the bomb that went off this morning in Paris.

I feel sorry for the victims. I feel sorry for France. They have a huge problem with immigrants choosing not to be part of France but to try to bring their Muslim culture to France.
