Jet Stream Cyclone on March 22nd?

Hey all. I am not well versed in how the jet stream behaves but I found this odd. Below is an image (Gif to be exact) detailing the jet stream over the course of the next few days. On March 22nd it seems to break off near the bottom and spiral across Texas. Am I overthinking this?

Looks like a low pressure system disturbing the edge of the jetstream.

It's just another storm, happens all the time.

... and when they say "Upper Level Pattern", it probably indicates little effect at lower altitudes.
