I was wondering if anyone on this site has used a ouija board - and if it has worked.

I have never used one myself because I have read a lot of people have had scary experiences afterwards.

Let me know your thoughts and experiences with ouija boards.

Thanks

Mine 'worked' so well that I got rid of it. Not just when we were using it .. but even afterwards. Do yourself a favor ... don't ever use one. Don't be tempted. It just opens up a portal to bad things happening.

I've used one...closest it came to working was the one time my mate was making it move, and thought it was hilarious to scare/excite the crap outa me lol.

My x husband I used one and his arms got welted up pretty bad, along with his eyes swelling up. He said it was like someone putting a lit cigarette in his eye. As soon as we turned the lights on to see if he was okay, he was fine again. We shut the lights off and go to play again and same thing happened. Turn the lights back on and he was fine. That was mind boggling. That was before we got divorced, but come to think of it, serves him right now for cheating on me.

I wouldn't mess with it.

Imagine living in a bad neighbourhood, opening your door wide open at night and going to sleep.

Is this what you want answering your questions ?

I guess it 'works' because people want it to work, they so strongly believe in this toy being evil that their mind plays tricks on them. It's like the placebo effect.
If you use it without expecting or wanting to see some effect nothing happens. It's just a board with letters on it

I beg to differ. I had the same ideology that you had when I started to play the thing.Thinking it's just a toy, nothing is going to happen. And watching my x blow up like a fish, was kind of freaky. I was like "let's go, we are getting the hell out of here".

Yeah, I use mine every day as a tray for separating the the twigs out of my pipe tobacco. Works fine for that.

Maybe it just works for certain people. I don't know. But, if you do play with it, the best effect is light a candle in the middle, shut the lights off, and make sure it's 12:00AM on the nose.

I have played many times with a ouija board when I was younger and it worked on 2 occasions. One time I was with one of my best friend at his mother house and we were only the 2 of us playing. We started playing, put everything in place and we asked question, the arrow started to move, i was in awe... what was making this arrow move by itself. i asked my friend to step away from the table, i barelly touched the arrow with my finger. Almost barely touching the arrow and it was moving by itself. we were playing on a glass table so no magnets or anything was posible and since I was the only one at that moment who touched the arrow and it moved on its own. It was really amazing. we asked many questions and each time the arrow moved and answered us. I dont recall all the questions we asked this entity, i remember asking who would be the next canadian prime minister and he answer ouija khadjasomething. He also answered to would i be rich one day and he said yes, I just wonder on what context ill be rich. I know that ill be rich one day and that ill share my fortune with people around me.

mostly no, but it worked once. no bad things happened that I know of, just an interesting conversation with something calling itself "Pete".

Pete made a few predictions that session, the first one being I would be getting a new green jetta (we didnt believe it because who the heck buys a green jetta on purpose??), I would end up having 3 sons (I was not even dating at the time), and there would be a 7 year war.

Fast Forward one year from that session, my grandma decides she's going to buy me a new car. She bought me a 1997 green jetta...no joke. My cousin and I just froze with our jaws dropped when we saw it, we hadnt told anybody about the session.

Fast Forward 5 years - my first of 3 sons was born, I'm now unable to have more children so my total is 3.

He was wrong about the 7 year war though....

I had a very intense and harrowing experience with a ouija board when I was 15. (I'm now 45) I was at a sleepover party with a bunch of other girls, and one of the girls brought her ouija board, which she claimed to use regularly and successfully with her brother. A group of girls tried it and the planchette moved, but didn't spell out anything in particular - just random movement. I was *highly* skeptical; I thought the owner was moving it herself. I said that if it really worked, it should work for me alone, and I tried it by myself. I didn't even have to get my fingers on the planchette before it began moving, lightning-fast, across the board. I felt like my arms were being jerked out of the socket. It made large, jagged movements and drew big, loopy circles between words. It gave me very specific information about future events, all of which came to pass - some personal and some big things, both immediate and up to 20-odd years later. It "spoke" in German for awhile (which I don't speak), including the word "JUDEN" spelled out violently and repeatedly. I asked its name, and it replied with an archaic-sounding name. I repeated the name out loud, and it immediately began to spell out really vile obscenities. I have not spoken or written that name since that night. My friends thought it was cool and fascinating at first, but eventually took it away from me when it grew foul. Once it was taken away, I began retching and vomited for hours. I ended up having to be taken home in the middle of the night.

Since then I have handled a ouija board a couple of times, but without intent, and nothing happened. The things that it spelled out were vile enough that I believe it can't be anything good. I would absolutely not open that door of communication again. I strongly advise against it. I don't have a good answer for what was driving that thing, but it was very, very dark, and I choose to live in the light. Definitely would not do it again.

I haven't tried it yet, I'm not sure what forces command it but I have burned one before.

Up on a mountain partying with a bunch of friends, we threw into the fire a makeshift one that they had brought solely for that purpose. I don't know what kind o wacky ish they got into with that board, and they certainly didn't wanna tell me, but they seemed pretty serious about it.

I have a feeling that games like monopoly and life by parkers brothers can have the same effect, if you have the intent of divining the future through them. But probably not to that extent of having the energy take over. All I know is monopoly is a game that we played in jail once.
And some crazy coincidences happened.
